This was a disappointment. It arrived and we got it out of the box to test it out before we installed it. The dog acted like there was nothing there. She didn't even flinch at all. So we tested it on ourselves. Yes we actually did. And guess what, nothing!!!! It was set on the highest setting and you could barely detect on your bare skin that anything was happening right next to the wire. If you got about 12 inches away there was nothing. We contacted the company that day to return it. They never would respond. We sent many many emails and continued to try to contact them. Even going through Amazon. This product is crap and the company refuses to respond so you can't return it. It is sitting in the box brand new, and unused. No point in installing it. Waste of money.

I bought this to replace my Innotek as the collars had become to expensive. Bought the whole system w/ 2 collars for less than 1 Inntek collar. I really liked Innotek but I decided to take a chance on this fence since I now need 4 collars. I wanted the battery operated collars because the rechargeable kept going out on me every 18 month.My dogs are already trained to the fence so they heard the alarm and responded. I have only had a week but so far so good. I am now training the pups that came while the fence was down and they seem to respond just fine.Tip: Train the dog, on leash, to run toward the yard when the hear the beep and get shocked. That keeps them from running though when they get shocked.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!The first collar broke within 2 days of having it on one of my dogs. The second collar broked within 3 weeks of having it on my other dog. Also, the seller wants the buyer to pay for return shipping costs and won't send replacement collars until the old ones are received. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

I ordered this for my German shepherd puppy which weighs about 45lbs and the shock did nothing, I tried it on full power on my neck and it was just not enough, cheesy junk I would not recommend buying this unless you are using it for a 5 lb Yorkshire terrier....

I have four yorkies on this system and couldn't be happier. I bought two double collar system for less than I could get with extra collars on this or other systems. I did however modify the collars to accept a quick disconnect collar. I did very little training, only one of them were familiar with a fence but the others learned quickly. Love it and very happy
