Great read with a huge twist
Review on BadAndDirtyBooksThis was my first book by this author and it didn't disappoint. I went into this without any expectations and I'm glad I did.Felicity is a 24 year old woman who lives with two of her friends and works three jobs. Besides her two friends she leads a pretty solitude life. Has had a rough childhood and lost her mother at an early age. She agrees to goes to a sugar baby party since her friends springs it on her. There she meets the billionaire, Theo. At first she wants nothing to do with him, but he's persuasive and because of her attraction to Theo Felicity gives in. What first begins as casual sex quickly leads to something more. With some serious twists and turns.Felicity is a strong, independent and opinionated woman. She is such a cool heroine and I liked that she knows what she wants. Especially when it comes to her "affair" with Theo. She's very honest about her sexual needs and I liked that about her. That she just wants it to be about sex and nothing else. She also brings out the best in Theo. But their connection is deeper than expected and when it comes to their childhood, they have some things in common.Theo is just a wonderful, sweet and kind man. But as good as he can be, he also has some possessiveness when it comes to Felicity. He has also had a tough childhood and he sees a kindred spirit in Felicity. Not just the things they have in common but opportunities for Felicity to change her life for the better. He wants so many great things for her.Their relationship is smoking hot and erotic. They have so much fun together and it's such a joy to read. But as their relationship intensifies a big twist happens and I didn't see it coming at all. I didn't know what to feel and think. Probably because I couldn't figure out how it would end and that irritated me, because I was really enjoying their story. As I was finally coming to terms with the twist a new one occurred and again my feelings were all over the place. All I can say is what a ride. I'm really happy I went with the story and the ending was perfection. I liked the emotions the story evoked in me. If you like romance with steamy and erotic scenes and a compelling story with some great twist, then this a must read.4 BadAssDirtyWithSomeTwistsStars

Starts out as a typical romance but gets major twist at the end
It start out a typical romance rich guys falls for poor girl but it turned out to be a crazy tale with all the big crazy stuff happening in the last hour of the book. I like Felicity she was sassy smart and didn't put up with much bull except from her own head. I like Theo he was sexy and kind even though he came from a rich family. What I didn't like about this book is they drop all the major bombs at the end. I felt like Felicity hadn't danced professionally for years so she shouldn't be able to ballet dance like a expert that seemed unbelievable. The adopted parents of Theo should of only cared about what would make him happy not what Felicity had or did. I didn't care for the epilogue it was a dud for me .

Interesting twists at 70 and 87% which I didn't see coming!
I have seen this one pass several times on Goodreads with other well liked book from this author but I hadn’t read any yet. Unfortunately for me it was rather a like than a love. The first 70% felt too much like a modern fairy tale but I do love fairy tales! But Felicity seemed too good to be true.I did love Mr. Darcy. (Every time I saw the words “Mr Darcy” in the book since it made me think of my favourite Mr Darcy ;D )I won’t tell anything about the story since that might reveal too much but I will say that at 70% and at 87% there are huge twists in the story. I didn’t see those coming and those last 30% made it all worth! I think if the first 70% would have been smaller and the last 30 longer I would have loved this story more. But overall I did enjoy this story of a young, feisty, troubled, strong-willed, survivor meeting the perfect, cocky, sexy, possessive, protective, understanding man for her!Something that ruined it a little for me were the numerous spelling errors. I know my reviews are probably full of them too but English is not my mother tongue and writing reviews is as far as I’ll go. Am I nagging now? Please, you can tell me honestly!I want to give this book 3.5 stars but will certainly read more from this author. The “Ruthless people” series is already on my Kindle. I also wouldn’t mind if Theo’s brother Arty got a book.

McAvoy delivers Again!
4.5 Sugar Sweet and Sexy Stars!I really needed this book. I had it on the kindle for a while but my one-click addiction and arc commitments kept pushing it back. Making a pact with myself to finally read for pleasure, I knew McAvoy would not disappoint and BOOM...she reminded me how good it is to just sit back, take my time and read. This author is so unique. She always brings 100% entertainment with her writing not only through her flawed, somewhat hard to get characters, but also her out of the box relationships that make you think and question what you are reading. Theo Darcy (don't you just love that name?) and Felicity Harper are so freaking cool. Completely smart and sassy. Fun yet serious. All out sexy and unashamed. This book is about taking what you need. Living for the moment and experiencing a touch of greatness without any of the complicating strings and emotions. A rich entertainment CEO and a minimum wage jack of all trades gal...what could they possibly have in common...THE HOTTEST SEX EVER! But be prepared for a bit of heart tugging and OMG moments of despair...kinda predictable that the "no strings" was not gonna last, but the strings that bonded them...the way they came together...their pasts and presents...everything made the predictable completely unpredictable. There are plenty of truly amazing and beautiful reviews for this read that will provide the summary or the tale with stunning imagery and profound quotes...I have liked the majority of them!!! All I can do is simply add to the fact that I too found this read to be a Great One!

What a read!!!!
What another great read by JJ McAvoy!!Ive been on a bit of a binge readijg her bokks lately and this one didnt disappoint me one bit... takes you on one journey then bam suddenly you are on a completely different one. Complete and utter plot twist that was so unexpected... well to me it was anyway! All i can say it was nothing like i thought it wss going to be.Felicity is a hard working girl... she has so many jobs she has no time to socialise when her flat mates drag her along to a sugar baby party and she bumps into billionaire Theo Darcy... but this still doenst make the story as simple as you think it will be.Such a fab read.. all i can say is stick with it and don't give up!Now i meed to decide which JJ book to read next!

Holy hell this book…mind blown…in a good way!
Holy hell this book…mind blown…in a good way!I originally purchased this book when it was first published, but like most of us my ever growing TBR list was bigger than me and somehow it got swallowed up by it.I want to firstly point out that I didn’t read any reviews before starting this book I know strange considering her you are reading my review but trust me I’m getting there as to why I didn’t and I’m really glad I didn’t but why am i pointing this out you ask is because with some reviews things are given away without meaning to or the whole book is rewritten both of which I hate and completely changes my reading experience and this is one of those books that you need to go in to blind trust me you’ll thank me later! Secondly if you think you can predict where the story will go guess again you won’t.When Felicity Harper is dragged to a sugar party, an event where wealthy men and women seek "companionship," she never expects this one simple decision to drastically change her whole life.Theodore Darcy, famed film director, writer, producer CEO of Darcy Entertainment equals instant magnetic attraction.Their arrangement is simple: sex with no strings. As their intimacy builds and becomes more powerful, so do Felicity's demons. Can Theo really shoulder her past and his own? And could Felicity even let him?The book is unique, emotive, intriguing, funny and deals with real life issues that leave you feeling like you’ve just stepped off one hell of a ride but in a good way and left me breathless…speaking of breathlessness some of the sexy time was hot like burn your pages/kindle hot! The story flowed was well written and the characters experiences and hardships were relatable. They had depth and at times my heart broke for them.I can’t recommend this book enough get one clicking! Hopefully we’ll hear more from Felicity and Theo in the future…

All is not as it seems
Sugar Baby Beautiful came with a glowing recommendation. I knew nothing of the author. Didn't check out the blurb. I just decided to dive in.Immediately I was on edge - if you start chapters or passages with a time, please check and make sure they are correct. a.m/p.m makes a lot of difference. It just made me aware of inconsistency. The plot lunged around. It made me think there was no pre plan. As the plot uncovered, I realised maybe the inconsistency was because of Felicity. I'm not giving away why she might have been an unreliable narrator but if that was the reason, could I talk myself into overlooking the shortfall? How much of the inconsistency was premeditated and how much was poor plotting? The sex was hot! Way, way, way hot, but I need more than that.I loved Arty and Felicity. Weirdly my baby boy is Theo J and my middle boy is a Lucas! So sad but I just didn't get a connection with this book.

Sugar Baby Beautiful is a brilliant
Sugar Baby Beautiful is a brilliant, brilliant novel and J.J. McAvoy is a brilliant, but cruel woman. First I would like to comment on that criminally brief snippet of The Thing Between Eli and Gwen. Release date: 'Winter 2015', how very, very vague. I need that book like I need my next breath. I need that book more than I needed the next episode of Grey's Anatomy after Jackson stood up at April and Matthew's wedding. I don't know if that was a good enough analogy since I hate Kepner and I think Jackson could do better (Am I alone in this?)Felicity Harper is a twenty-something year old woman who works several jobs and lives with her deviant roommates Mark and Cleo, who pretty much bully her into attending a 'Sugar Baby' party. Theodore Darcy is a 31 year old billionaire who's brother throws said party at his mansion unbeknownst to him. He is fortunately not into the sugar baby scene (SPOILER ALERT). They meet, Sparks fly and one crazy twist later we get an HEA, well sort of. It's hard for me to write this reviews without basically giving everything away, so I will say no more.Make sure you have your kleenex ready, it's a tough road to that HEA.5 stars for you J.J, You go J.J! - That was a Mean girls reference, not very good, but I try.

Hmmmm....
I don’t really know what to say about this book! It was ok?! I didn’t really get it. It felt like half a story. His brother her family just huge chunks missing. It’s a shame to because I loved the ruthless people books, but I didn’t enjoy this. Schizophrenia, brain tumour it felt abit over board or something I can’t really explain it. How could nobody notice for 6 years that her friends weren’t real...come on! Sorry It just most definitely wasn’t for me.
