ISO27001/ISO27002: A Pocket Guide 2nd Edition, Kindle Edition

True to its name, it is pocket sized in width an about the length of a man's hand. Great little reference book for meetings or for that job interview.

If you need a bird's eye view of security standards, this is the place to get it. A must if you're on the road and don't have time to wade through an entire ISO for a reference needed for a briefing or presentation.

Great reference but not very comprehensive

I read through this in about 2 hours... not really a lot of information that you can't do a quick internet search and find.

Pocketbooks seem to be outlines of real material and when you could bookmark more details on well-known websites related to the topic, plus NIST, PCI-DSS, and Health Care materials, it seems like this approach has passed its orime.Too much outline, too little meat.

The content is ok, but this really is a pocket book as it is tiny with very few pages so it is not worth the money.

These series of books are beneficial for a brisk and straightforward discussion on areas of CS that can assist you in your knowledge and understanding when writing or presenting.

I like this book. Yes, its is small BUT the summary is very comprehensive.The wording has been carefully crafted, and again whilst small in size and pages, it does provide a very comprehensive overview.Short of buying the entire standard ( about £100? ) this provides a clear and precise overview.

Comprehensive overview of the basic principles - was very useful during study for the ISO27001 Foundation course, and would be equally handy for quick reference whilst working with ISO27001

Like all the other reviews you’ll read for this book, it’s a very basic guide. You can learn as much by conducting a basic Google search.
