Works great with fountain pens
Great quality, smooth writing with a fountain pen with no feathering, bleeding, or ghosting using an extra fine nib and wet ink. Séyès ruled is working wonderfully for practicing my penmanship. Only drawback is that the spine/backing material can be stiff making it difficult to lay flat.

paper quality is top notch
This product is excellent to improve handwriting skills. We are using it for homeschooling dictation lessons. The paper is thick. The only thing I would prefer is a spiral binder. It is not cloth bound. Mine is plastic coated tag board

Great paper. Lines are darker than expected.
Great size. Fabulous Clairefontaine paper (fountain pens LOVE it).Only down side is that the lines are bolder than I expected and are rather distracting.

Fountain pen friendly
I love Clairefontaine paper. It's sturdy and smooth as silk. Works beautifully with every fountain pen I own. In fact all of my pens.I've tried so many notebooks and Clairefontaine is bar none.

Love this Notebook!
I have just discovered French ruled paper, and I absolutely love it! No complaints about the book, except that spiral bound would be much be more convenient. Nothing wrong with the book. It is like any other clothbound book would be. For what it is, I really like it. The paper is of good quality for dip pens and fountain pens. The cover is sturdy. I will buy it again.

Outstanding paper for use with a fountain pen
The 90 gram / sqm paper excellent for wiring with a fountain pen.I use a Pelican M1000 wide nib fountain pen with generous ink flow. The nib glides smoothly and the thick paper does not bleed through. Clairfontaine paper is the best.

Great paper. Binding interferes with the writing on the left page; the paper does not lie flat.
Paper is great for fountain pen ink. It allows you to write with very wet pens. When writing on the back side of the paper (left side), the end of the line becomes difficult to write because the binding is too tight. It would be nicer if the notebook were offered with a spiral or bound on the top.

Excellent quality, bright white paper
Excellent quality, bright white paper, works perfect with my fountain pens. Highly recommend french rule for anyone looking to practice penmanship. The extra lines help you keep your spacing and letter height consistent.
