Solid build, yet simple to use
We own 1 of these units and it's been going strong for 2 years now on a permanent install hanging from a bar and one which travels to different venues. The unit itself is rugged enough to handle a dusty environment with little maintenance and that a little hard handling on the go for our second unit hasn't hurt it.We've noticed this fixed signal strength issues to some of our buggiest units where other Ethernet to DMX nodes or DMX splitters did not. It also features setting separate universes for each DMX out and was easy to use out of the box vs other units (most notably DMX King, which was a major pain to set up).

Problem updating firnmware
I just tried to update the firmware to 2.9.4. The manual says I have to apply two different update files -- "img" and "nfw" -- but it does not say which to update first. I tried nfw first.BIG MISTAKE! Now the web interface doesn't work. I just get giberish. I power cycled it & did a factory reset. No difference. Now I have an expensive brick. I suppose I can configure it though the small front display, but that is a royal pain.I suggest you consider an Enttec interface instead.
