Everyone in education needs to read this
This book is amazing, showing the importance of relationships and regulation for all pupils, particularly our most vulnerable. All school staff need to read this and live by it!

Once you know... you know! But you don’t until you have read this book!
Excellent. It is a must for all people working in a school! Everyone should be trauma informed and build a unique relationship in order for a child to learn. It will transform your practice. I am a Play Therapist and thought it was very well written & used it in up skilling educational staff.Every school should own it.Every teacher & assistant should read it & implement it.It will transform your school & the way you think & feel about behaviour & building relationships.

Excellent book to recommend to your adopted child’s School
Excellent reading for adoptive parents and nicely complements Louise Bomber’s other books. It is just what I was looking for and is especially relevant to influence practice in Secondary schools which are by nature less nurturing than Primaries. Louise Bomber deserves high praise for her work championing children who have suffered trauma and ACEs.

This book is excellent! I am a therapist working a lot with adopted children. This book is very clear and easy to understand. I have many useful books, but this is definitely one of the best .
