Talus Fingerless Merino Glove

The only negative thing I can say is that the the packaging forces you to take off the tags to try the gloves on. This is a bit of a problem because First Lite only accepts returns/exchanges with the tags still attached. Luckily my fingerless talus gloves fit beautifully (LARGE). I'm actually very impressed with the quality at first inspection. It's a shame they are made in China but I have found no other slim fitted wool gloves like these.The wool is not scratchy at all, nor is it butter soft. Seems about perfect to me in softness. I was also looking into the Filson's which are made in the USA but decided on the tighter weave and closer fit of the FL. Happy I did. They immediately felt shockingly warm when I put my hands in them. Durability is still to be determined but I don't plan on abusing them if I don't have to. Will be testing them while sea duck hunting in Alaska shortly! I hate wearing gloves when wingshooting but think these will serve me great!

I have both the full gloves and fingerless talus. I like the fingerless so much more. They provide just enough warmth to keep my hands warm when its in the 50s and i dont want to use my pockets. When its colder then the mid to low 50s i will keep my hands in my pockets. The merino is thick and comfortable. They provide enough warmth to screw around on my phone for a few minuets while sitting in the woods when its single digits. They do a good job just keeping the chill from setting in. If you are not a glove user these things are great. If you like having gloves i would get something warmer if you plan on sitting in the cold. I use these from 60s bow hunting for the early morning sits and at last light when the temps drop. I use these gloves when its single digits in Wisconsin gun season. I use these for hunting in Wyoming in anything lower then the 60s. If i was to lose a pair i would absolutely buy them again. After a year of use mine are in as good of shape as the day i bought them. 10/10 on all the firstlite gear i own.

GREAT addition to any hunting kit. Warm even with wet Lost my first pair and re-ordered immediately. Can’t live without these things.

Great gloves for on the mountain when you don’t need a real warm set. Works great as a liner too. I snaggedA small hole on the top of the hand second time I wore them that I will need to sew or maybe a dab of silicone so they don’t come unraveled. Just wish they was a little cheaper.

I bought these for my boyfriend so I'm unsure how comfortable, durable and value for the money ATM. I was personally impressed with the fast shipping. The material feels nice, looks like the perfect size. So far I can't complain, I will update my review once he breaks them in.

One of my favorite pieces I’ve purchased from first lite for my system. I don’t like my hands to be constricted when shooting a bow or a gun. These keep your hands pretty warm in the 30’s. You do have to shove them in your pocket every once in a while but they work great for bow hunting, shooting pheasant, or hunting out of a duck blind.
