I bought the pink set because of the color combination. But I was disappointed with texture. It is too rough and scratchy when I make my project. It also hard to control the string when I crochet. The string doesn't come smoothly. I like the colors but absolutely not the texture. So I gave 2 stars. I was going to return, but my 3 yr old opened and get rid of all the paper rings that rapped the string. So I made some dish scrubs. It turns out more thin and bigger and stiff. I don't recommend this and I won't buy this brand anymore unless they make more smoother string.

I wasn't pleased with the glitter as the description did not include that for the group that I purchased. It's OK, just using it for scrubbies so it's not a big deal. The yarn is thin but I expected that and am using another cotton yarn with it. Making small pot scrubbers for gifts. People seem to love them and have requested more. I knit them using 18-20 stitches on a size 8 or 9 needle. Makes about a 3-1/2-4" square.

Some people may like it if they want a scrub-like hand feel. Yet, I didn't like this stiff yarn as it is so hard to knit. I had to wear rubber gloves to use this yarn as it will scratch my skin off! It is painful to crochet. Yet I knitted some dishcloths, so will use for cleaning pots. Not for glasses, I guess. It will damage the surface.

The “Assorted 20 Skeins” is what I purchased, and this material is PERFECT for the kitchen scrubbies that I am making (round loom — 24 pegs). I was pleasantly surprised that this particular selection has a sparkly effect ... but not glittery! Teamed with basic (least expensive) acrylic yarn from everyone’s go-to “W” store, my scrubbies are a huge hit! If that’s the project you’re working on, this stuff is great! By the way, I can make 4 scrubbies per skein ... or was it 5? Something like that!

This is not at all what I thought it was. Totally my mistake. I thought I was buying eyelash yarn. With that being said...this is the weirdest yarn I have ever felt. It manages to be crunchy, somehow. Like it might melt if left in the sun. Definitely a fire hazard. Wouldn’t use this for anything other than wrapping packages.

Wanted to make stocking stuffers for adults on my Christmas list and thought I'd do knit scrubbies. Colors I ordered are fun and would make anyone smile. I'm hoping that when each one wears out, folks will ask for another. Good project for new/young knitters since gauge doesn't matter and a mistake doesn't stand out.

I recently purchased this yarn to make scrubbies for my kitchen after a friend gave me one she made. I also bought the Red Heart 40+ Quick and Easy Scrubbies to crochet. It doesn’t have any stretch to it at all but that is fine for the type of projects it is designed to make. The colors are vivid! It is pretty easy to crochet with.

I would like to see single color skins sold separately . The variety pack is great as well but some times I would like more of one color without having to buy the variety pack. I have bought a lot of this quality item and like them.
