Peregrine Field Gear Quick-Shot Synthetic Combo Holster

With limited information to go on I thought the idea was great so I bought it and got overnight shipping for the opening day of Dove hunting. I did not think that the belt supplied is all that great but I planned on using a thicker belt which I already have anyways. The material is very thick and seems like it will hold up very well over time. The person who gave this product a bad review must not have had the belt tightened; I can see it not providing adequate support (sagging) unless you snug it up which I do since I carry a holster for a box of shells on my left side of the same belt. I shoot a Benelli Sport II 12ga with a 30 inch barrel which is not a light gun and had no problems whatsoever. I usually spend the day switching from gripping the receiver, to hanging over each arm, and then supporting over each shoulder; alternating all the time since it becomes uncomfortable pretty quickly with each method. I had no such problem on opening day and love how I can hold the gun steady with just a finger touch and at the ready position with zero fatigue or effort. I will admit that when the gun is not in the support, it looks a little silly to others; my buddy said it looked like a camo athletic supporter. But after he tried it for an hour or so he ordered one via his Amazon.com Iphone app while in the field. It's one of those things alot of people will pass up until they try somebody's first, but at $35 for the camo version, it is now the most valued piece of hunting gear I have, and made a full day in the field much more enjoyable.

It is functional but a little too awkward in the field

This works great for long walks in grasslands. Not a useful for shorter walks in draws.

I used to get tired hunting birds and remember how I used to support the gun with my belt. I saw how tired my daughter was getting hunting and how slow she became reacting to a flushed bird. This product solved that problem. The holster supports the weight of the gun and allows her to easily swing on the bird. Great product. Might get one for myself.

this is a good idea but it doesn't come anywhere near performing like it's pictured. you still have to support the weight of your gun or crossbow and would achieve a better benefit from resting it on your belt than in this thing.

I've had this Peregrine quick shot holster for two seasons now and it sure works for me. I usually use this for stalking when slug gun hunting deer. I have a H&R ULTRA SLUG HUNTER HEAVY BARREL and this product really takes a lot of weight off my shoulders and back plus the gun is always at the ready for quick shots.

My son loves this. It was exactly what he was looking for.
