Tenzing BV16 Upland Vest | Hunting Backpack and Bird Vest Crossover | Designed for Upland Hunting | Available in Size M/L and XL/XXL

I haven't been hunting for a number of years but invested in this vest to help me get back into pheasant hunting. It's very comfortable and all of the pockets/storage spaces are exactly where I'd want them to be. Awesome vest.

The idea is great, moves more freely than a traditional vest, and it is light and durable (i'm on my 3rd year with it), but it needs much improvement. Im 5'9" 160# 32" waist and the M/L doesn't even get close to tightening around my waist with early season atire, pretty typical of Tenzing packs. Why can't they make the waist belts like a high end Kuiu or Mystery Ranch? Shell pouches are hard to get a hand in once they have something in them and sag towards the front. The zippered access to the game bag doesn't stay zipped shut and is constantly open. I'm not sure why any upland vest wouldn't have water bottle pockets for the dogs. The bladders work well when the temps are above freezing but not when it's cold out and i'm not real fond of sharing the nozzle with my dog. I definitely prefer water bottles. I will probably buy a Wing Works when I wear this one out.

I did a lot of research and finally decided on this vest. I'm glad I bought it because it is the perfect vest for upland birds. I also purchased a 3 liter bladder separately. I usually only fill it halfway to cut down on weight. I carry extra shells, a light jacket, and dog food for my dog. On a recently chilly day I over dressed but had plenty of room to take off and store my hunting jacket. I'm 5'9' & 175lbs. I bought the medium vest and it fits me perfect. so, the first day out with my dog (his first time too) and bagged the only we saw. It was a decent size bird and there was plenty of room for at least 3 more birds. easy access to the side pouch was key, since I didn't need to take off the vest to load in the bird. Couldn't ask for a better vest. Actually liked it so much I'm buying another one as a gift.

Fastest standard shipping ever 2nd day.The vest is awesome. Take note that fit is a bit large, but perfect over a jacket. Plenty of room support and pockets love it so far. Feels like it will hold up well. Will be nice to have the hydration and works well for a small day pack.
