What size would the Colt Python with a 6" barrel be?

I use the medium size for my 4 inch 45 auto. I would think the large would do. I'm 5/10 and my holster reaches my belt.

For the hi-power, did anyone have to do anything special to get it to fit? Difficult to get the gun in the holster and it takes 2 hands to remove

I didn't do anything special. The new holster tends to be stiff. A little light weight oil, or leather conditioner will help. Once my holster was broken in, I found it to be the best shoulder rig I have ever owned for my Hi Power
