Great item just a little overpriced.
These are great little blocks that attach together very easily with magnets inside, they also come apart very easily too which is great. They make a rattle noise when shaking. It comes with cards to show you how to make the different animals... Luckily.. As I had a go and had to look at the cards for 1 or 2 of them!! 😂😂Whilst getting the pictures for this review I quite enjoyed myself though trying to figure them out without the cards, I didn't succeed 😂😊I have to take a star though because 30 pounds is very expensive for 8 small blocks... . Pictures show 7 because my daughter has already lost one somewhere! These are very very nice blocks with the added feature of being a puzzle too but overpriced I feel.

An Unusual Puzzle that will appeal to STEM fans - Magnetic Magic!
This is a very nice puzzle set, offering several opportunities for play. The cubes are magnetised so they stick together, and can be formed in 6 different designs. I liked the fact that the designs used different formations to vary the shape - Each used the cubes to build a sea creature, and each was different. This meant that children wouldn't get bored just making a basic rectangle puzzle design - there was good variety. You are supplied with a set of guide cards with the design printed on them, to follow - The shark design ends up long with a central fin sticking up, while the sea turtle ends up a diamond shape design. In my experience, children are fascinated by magnets and I feel that this game could be played in different ways depending on the age of the player. Younger children would stack the cubes and explore the magnetic properties of them, while older children would follow the designs to achieve the end result. I could imagine that children would also enjoy making their own crazy animals using the cubes in different ways. A really unusual puzzle that would appeal to a wide age range, offering great value for money.

Clever Blocks
Even though my child is now older, they still enjoy playing with blocks - stacking them, knocking them over etc. These 'Magicubes' are a clever idea for a toddler to about a five-year-old. These are not stacking blocks, but a set of eight magnetic cubes that each has a picture. The clever thing is that the images are not all the same so you will need to distribute the bricks in a different way to get an octopus or a dolphin. The quality is exceptional and the designed brilliantly to be light and safe for children. Using sea creatures is a clever idea and the illustrations are very attractive. You can tell this is a high-quality product from the look and feel, but that does come at a premium price. You get eight blocks in the pack and some cards to design from - all of this is around thirty pounds. That is quite a lot for a block game, but the quality is easy to see.

Sturdy build, cute art, bit pricey
These magnetic blocks are made from quite durable plastic, with heat printed prints on. These cubes create 6 different sea animals, in various shapes; I did find that each animal was created with 7 blocks, the 8th block has some random prints that don't really match any of the animals so you don't use it and the 8th cube is somewhat obsolete; better use of the 8th cube would be if it had the 6 different prints and use it to decide which animal to make, like a dice. There are 8 cubes with what seems like 4 magnets inside, the magnets are in some free movement carriage,as you can hear them rattle, as each magnet rotates depending on the North and South poles. The art is cute and engaging, the size of the cubes are just right for small hands, they seem s hard wearing as my baby ahs has thrown them about a bitAll in all, I would recommend this magnetic block, It fun to build and play with; however, these are on the pricey side.Pros- Sturdy build- Strong magnets- Cute artwork- Clever magnet systemsCons- Bit pricey- Obsolete 8th cube

A super way of learning and builds confidence
I was surprised at how light the box was when it arrived. I have had magnetic toys before and the little ones love them. I love the independence that it gives young children as they don't get frustrated at not being able to click something together. Using these is a real confidence booster to have done it themselves. There were 8 blocks in the box which will make 6 pictures when put together. The imagination and skills are further developed by not sticking to a typical rectangle for the jigsaw picture. Each picture takes on a different shape too when complete. The blocks are very safe for small children with rounded edges and nothing that can be swallowed. This is super technology at its best for learning safely. The blocks easily pull apart and can be used over and over again. The set also comes with three cards and step by step guidance for children a little older. The set is a little pricey for the number of blocks.

Swiss Made, Hreat Attention to Detail and Can be Used as a Extension Set
The perfect introductory set, into the world of the well regarded, Swiss made, Magicube.Durable and well built little cubes that attach smoothly together without faltering. Each cube is about the size of a lemon, so I can remain at ease, knowing my little one is safe from placing it in her mouth.Nontoxic and a good aid for early STEM activity with a set of 8 cube with 6 sea creatures to make up; or she can create her own creatures, which always gets lots of giggles - especially when it comes to naming our creations!Beautiful illustrations and bright colours. If you, like us, have other Magicube sets, this set will allow for being used as an extension too. The cubes are the same size in all Magicube sets. With which, we can use this to block construct, whilst still using the sea creatures to decorate/inhabit your larger build.Great quality and will last a long time, being passed onto future generations as our kids grow up.5 stars
