I don't know if this is the absolute best Pradipika but for the price, it works. I bought it to read for my yoga teacher training-it got the job done but it made for choppy reading to have three different translations of each statement.BUT it gets the job done. So if you want it for the enjoyment for reading, I'd look else where. If you need it to read for a specific purpose, this isn't a bad choice and it is translated well.

Seems to be a reprint of an old edition with varied printing quality but still a reasonable go-to reference.

Everything OK

This is a very thin book running into about 85 pages without any illustration or proper explanation for performing the yoga asans mentioned here. Overall I am very disappointed especially considering the fact that it costs Rs 700. Light on Yoga by BKS Iyengar is thousand times better than this.

Short & precise. If you are unfamiliar with some terms more or other sources for reference maybe needed.

Highly disappointing book. Each chapter is presented as abridged version or as an abstract. For its cost Rs.699/-, it is absolute waste. In fact Gheranda Samhita (from Amazon) is an excellent book and very well written and with meaningful illustrations and costs less than Rs.600. Please do not buy this book "The Hatha Yoga Pradipika (Yoga Academy). I thank Amazon for they have accepted my return request.
