The hard copy of the book was so good so I also purchased a kindle copy. This review is about the hard copy book.I believe this book can be read and given away to any non Christian who can't relate to the truths of the Bible because they find it hard to understand it. It is beautifully illustrated and set out. I think it can be read by anyone who is searching for answers to life and to the mess that the world is in but find reading the Bible a bit too confusing to understand and how it's applicable to them or the world.It will suit someone who is searching for proof that Jesus is the Messiah and God because the family tree chart located in the beginning of the hard copy book is excellent. It is a little more difficult to grasped the beauty of the family tree from the kindle edition.This book will suit someone who has difficulty in understanding the Bible and find it too confusing to put the pieces together because it seems like a puzzle to them. This book will provide them with a picture to work from so that putting the Bible puzzle together correctly isn't so daunting. In this book the Bible story is broken down so you can see how the Bible really does relate to your life and the world around you. After reading this book you will go away with the desire to want to read and know the Bible, a desire to want to study it more, and a desire to want to know Jesus so you can understand God and have a right meaningful purpose in this life.This book will answer questions of "why am I here", "how is this mess with people and the world fixable", "why is this world so messed up." So get this book if you need answers to those questions.The best thing about this book is that it puts the Bible together for people to understand with the 'big' picture of the Bible in mind. People like me, who have been born again Christians for many years, love their Bibles and see it as the most significant book to ever have been preserved for mankind, but we can forget how we used to see the Bible before we were born again which was for me - one that was difficult to know and understand what it was talking about. This book will help you achieve an understanding of what the Bible is about and what us Christians are so excited about. I wish I had something like this book when I was a born again Christian in March 1977.This book will remind the Christian that the Bible is a book written about the true God and the Saviour of the world Jesus, and it will help you keep the 'big' picture in mind when you witness to others about the hope that lies in you because of Christ.Many thousands of years ago, God's plan for a Saviour to be born to save this world from its mess and corruption which took place in the garden at Eden, is traced simply in this book. It does this very well by tracing the lineage of Jesus' family tree and life. A great angle to view the redemption story from.It is my belief that the story of redemption of mankind is not over yet but continues and the only part of that story of Jesus that I would have liked to see more about in the book but it wasn't dealt with in any real depth, is about Jesus' return to rule in Jerusalem in the Millennium and the Eternal state. A small mention is made of this at page 176 under the title, 'The New Covenant.' For me, after I came to the end of reading the book, I was wanting to know more about the future of this Kingdom Jesus has delivered me into. Perhaps we can hope for a sequel to this great book. Nevertheless, despite this, it is still a great book and one you can give away or have for yourself that is a beautiful Godly, Christ exulting book!The Bible is really a book preserved for mankind so we can know about God through Jesus Christ the Saviour and this book weaves that story around the lineage of Jesus very well!This is a quote from the book which I think best describes what this book is about - "The effects of sin are powerful and deep. Sin has shattered our relationships with God, with each other, and with creation. We long for true and intimate connections, but sin, evil, and death constantly get in the way. Relationships that should be nurturing, loving, joyful, and intimate can turn destructive, hateful, sorrowful, and divisive. The way we relate to God, to other humans, and to our world is not the way it is supposed to be. You might find it difficult to accept that we are incapable of fixing this problem, this separation from God and the sin that results. We can fix many things around us to make them and our lives better, but the core of the problem is beyond our abilities. Only God can repair our brokenness—and God has a plan to do exactly that. We find out about this plan in the Scriptures." This book shows what that plan was from the Scriptures in a very readable and beautifully illustrated way.

It puts together the pieces of the puzzle of man's history, that resulted in the woman was to carry and give birth to the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the flesh.

Love the book. From a printing & publishing point of view it has a wonderful theme almost like a high school yearbook. The charts are nice and easy to understand as well as easy to read. The font is a good size. It is a well thought out book. I recommend it if you are interested in knowing more about Jesus and/or are interested in genealogy. How is he part of the line of David? The answer is explained well in the book. Shipping container was okay but the box was opened and the shipping receipt was missing so I don’t know if anything else was in the box. Probably a post office issue but it’s the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

My wife bought this for a Bible study she teaches and so far she says she is glad she got it.

Scholars have spilt oceans of ink on the lists of Jesus' genealogy, debating every detail. This volume avoids the worthless controversies by giving us a straightforward presentation of His genealogy, giving us reasons to praise God for His wisdom as we are presented every generation along the way. It is basic, but complete, and useful for the family as well as for the church.

I love all of the books that I have from this line of books. I love how they explain different points of the Bible and how colorful the books are. It helps bring the Bible to life.

I loved this book. It is loaded with information and other resources. I am using it in our weekly bible study course. We are currently studying the life of Jesus Christ.

Wonderful resource and very interesting to see the family tree of the founder of Christianity. Many scholars must have worked for years to piece together this information, as having read a great deal of the Bible (still a work in progress) l have to say that the endless lists of names, and genaeological references in the Old Testament is quite mind-blowing.This book is well presented and easy to read, and serves a a good reference book to accompany Bible study or just basic interest.Recommended.
