For the price, this is a pretty decent coat, lots of handy pockets and the quality is good. It lasted me about 15 months, then the main zip broke. The velcro on the arm cuffs isn't very good, frayed quite a lot and the plastic fasteners on it are a bit annoying (the one without the hood seems not to have these). Put a decent zip on this and it would be a 4 star at least - if this hadn't broke, I'd be quite happy with this coat for another couple of years! Again, for the price, it lasted okay I suppose, 2 years and I'd probably not grumble at all to be fair.

I love the look, the feel, the fit and the price, but this is NOT waterproof. A decent solid downpour and I was soaked, but it is suitable for a mild shower and quite good at keeping the wind out.

I'm a window cleaner and and under the arms you have a breathable patch and the water gets in there

Awesome bit of winter kit. I use this jacket when out on my bike, I cycle to work at 5 am here in Glasgow and believe me it gets wet and cold but with this jacket on I’m sorted. It’s really good quality material, well put together, loads of pocket space and definitely keeps out the rain. Not been caught in a real downpour yet. It can be a bit stiff round the neck when the hood is packed away but other than that I’m well happy with this jacket. I ordered the TACVASEN Mens waterproof to replace a fleece I wore around the home. I wanted more warmth through. the winter. It has fulfilled this function well. I wear it outside on better days instead of my more substantial jacket. It is slightly larger than expected but this allows for a jumper, etc to be worn underneath. I have been protected in light rain and it dries quickly. It has been through my washing machine with no problems.

I haven't worn it for a length of time yet. But I am happy with how it looks and feels. It is comfortable to wear. It looks great. Everything feels just how I like it. Big pockets. Strong zips. Really well made. The stitching looks good and very strong. I rolled the hood up to put in the nect collar but maybe I rolled the hood wrong? it feels a bit bulky round your neck with it this way. Its not a major problem I'm sure with a bit of trial and error I will figure out the best way to fold the hood up neatly.I've given the coat 4 stars at the for impression. After a years wear and tear I can give a more comprehensive review.

This jacket has been a life saver in all conditions and I live in the highlands of Scotland would definitely recommend
