First of all, I love City Threads swimsuits. I've been buying the swim shorts for my daughter for years - the quality is excellent. The quality on this swim top is excellent too. However, like the other reviews say, you need to size up. I originally ordered 2 sizes larger based on other people's reviews. I thought it looked like it fit my 8 year old well, but she said it was way too tight. I exchanged it for a size 14 and my daughter said it's much more comfortable. It's a tiny bit big, but the straps don't fall down and it doesn't ride up, so it works for our purposes. It's so hard to find just the swim tops, so I'm glad City Threads offers these. I also love they come in so many great colors and that they're solids, not printed, so they can be worn with the swim shorts and rash guards we already have.

Got this for my 10 year old daughter to wear under rash guard. We read the reviews that said to order a size up. She wears a size 10 Justice bikini, and an Old Navy 10/12 bikini is just a bit loose on her. So we ordered the 12. Way too tight. Had to return and exchange for a size 14. The straps are a tiny bit loose, but it will work. And if she wants to take off the rash guard, it provides good coverage.

These are great little bikini tops for girls. They have good coverage, are sporty for active play, are made from super soft material and wash really well. My daughter wears one under a rash guard to summer camp and they are comfortable for her all day. I took the advice from other reviews and sized up one size - it’s a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend sizing up. And in general, I would recommend these little tops. They are great quality and the price can’t be beat!

I love city threads swim and other clothes like bike shorts. These bikini tops are very cute. But you MUST order at least 1 size larger. My girls are average height and thin. Their normal size swim boy shorts were fine. Size 8 and 10. The tops in same sizes were too tight! A lot! But one size up was better. Could have MAYBE went two up. Bonus, going a size up also made them a tad longer which my girls liked as they aren’t huge fans of bikinis (yet?). .

I should have 'ordered up'! The 'correct size' fits a bit too snugly! Plus it very short so there is not much room for the child to feel safe when doing what kids do in playing hard!!! The top needs to be made longer or 'wider' so there is more safe room to throw up their hands and have a wave hit w/out having to pull their top back down! So not thrilled with this purchase for those reasons!

Nope no pictures. I purchased a size 8. I have 2 daughters one 6 and 1 10. It did not work for either. I say this because they are built so different. The material is thin. No modesty pads, so you can see everything. I think these are good for more like toddlers. This is my experience and opinion on my personal experience. This make work for other kids if parents choose.

My seven year old just moved into size 10 tops. She is tall, and can fit into size 7/8, but shirts end up being short on her. The 10s are just a little big yet, and I almost ordered a size 8 in this bikini top, but read reviews an got a 10. This top fits like a glove. I was even a bit worried it would be too small just looking at it. Definitely go up a size!

These tops do run small, my thin 11 yr old fits both the 12 and 14 sizes and typically a size 10 suit is too big. She does like them and as bikini suits go this is fairly modest when paired with boy short bottoms.
