Columbia Men's Steens Mountain Half Zip Fleece

I purchased one of these for winter and fall months. I am a manager in a professional environment and need to wear dress to business casual attire.This fit the bill AND it actually fit me.The first day I wore it, our teen son saw me in it and after I left for work, he told his mom it looked really good on me and would like one too if they had one in his size (2XL).I received numerous compliments on it the same day and during that week. Very soft, professional looking and easy to wash and dry.I normally wear a 3XL and upsized to accommodate layered clothing underneath, so I ordered a 4XL.Glad I did. It did tend to run a little small, however with the generous sizing variation was easy to purchase this one and fits well.Would highly recommend and did purchase another one the next day for our son. He wears his a few times a week.

I've not ever been a fan of bulky layers and working in a cold warehouse environment I need to be flexible but also stay warm in these brisk norther winters. After wearing it in and one good wash, its gotten even softer. Apart from keeping out the wind, I've been able to step outside in 20 degree weather and not freeze my tail off. Its incredibly warm, versatile, sharp, and professional. I prefer to air dry when time allows just to extend the life of this, but it's absolutely worth the investment.The pullover does not have pockets unlike the zip up style.

I extremely like these as they are soft and comfortable and warm and fit well to the size. The best part is that these come in tall as being 6 foot 2 inches, made it the best for me.

I bought two of these while the price is down. A black one, and a charcoal gray one. They seem like they will be really warm as they are a nice weight. It's August so I can't really put that to the test at this time, but am confident they won't let me down. They are definitely well made with great features, and super comfortable. The 3xl tall fits me to a tee at 6'6" 270 lbs. The only knock on them at all is the fact that the black one isn't really a true black. It's a shade darker compared to the charcoal gray one, but isn't really black comparing it to other black fleece garments that I own. It's nice, to be sure, but if you work security or law enforcement or some other job where black has to be black, that might matter to you. Other than that...awesome fleece pullovers.

Me: male, 6'0 168 lbs. 33" inseam (31" waist), so relatively long legs and arms compared to torso (distance runner/skier body, not sprinter/swimmer). Garment: medium - for me this is snug around the shoulders, upper back and chest (perfect fit); slightly loose around the waist (okay fit), loose in sleeves (poor fit) and although the wrists have elastic bands there's about 1" of extra material making it pointless since it will never help prevent a draft. The collar has about 2" of extra material and is loose and baggy. (Terrible neck fit.) The general bagginess means it will never be as warm as a snug fit, other than around the shoulders and chest. The weave is a bit loose compared to a similar North Face garment, and while you don't expect a mid layer to block wind, this one will blow right through; any air movement whatsoever will go right through it. The loose weave and baggy fit might also prevent effective wicking (so is not suited for activity wear), forms air pockets, and won't be as warm or comfortable under a shell or insulated jacket as it would be if it were a good fit. I don't think I'll wear it for downhill skiing; the baggy collar will never fit properly under a jacket collar or hood, and will either be uncomfortably lumpy or cold, or both. On the plus side it doesn't have any pockets, adjusters, straps, embellishments, vents, or anything else that that will lump up, so is definitely a proper mid layer to go under a jacket or shell, and the excess waist material isn't enough to cause discomfort; a well fitting shell will simply pack it together. At $25 I can't see returning it, as it's worth every cent paid, however if it were a $75 North Face or Patagonia item it would probably have gone back. If you're heavier, I'd say on the lower end of overweight (by BMI) then it's probably a perfect fit; count yourself lucky and buy it!

Purchased as gift for a birthday. He loves it! Fits true to size, very comfortable and would like another one in different color. Very easy to slip on and off.

Bought this for my husband to replace another fleece pullover that had seen better days. I had been looking for one for a long time that did not have elastic around the waist, a half zip pullover style, and was long enough. He loves it and says it is warmer than his old one, which was a different brand. The fabric is very soft, good quality, and looks professional for his job.

Hubby had a Columbia pullover just like this one from over 10 years ago and loved it. It was well-worn, and it was time for a new one, so we were delighted to find another one just like it!The quality, fit, and feel are the same - soft fabric, good combination of warm and breathable. He highly recommends it!

I really like the sweater, it’s supper soft and warm. Seems to resist stains and water quite well . The sizes seem to lean a little bit bigger which i appreciate because if you need extra room you’ll have it or there is a draw string to tighten the sweater to your waste which is a great feature . The only bad thing about this product is it is missing the pockets that are advertised in the description and pictures. I bought it knowing that after reading other reviews thinking I wouldn’t mind to much however I wish I just found one with the pocket because other then that it’s a great sweater but the pockets would make it 10/10
