Savage Secrets Paperback – March 16, 2014

Savage Secrets was an emotional roller coaster ride with some really sweet, exhilarating highs and some truly devastating lows. It was at turns, funny, sweet, sexy, exciting and gut-wrenching. Savage Secrets is Rocco Savage’s and Caterina Cruz’ story. I have loved all of the Titan books, but Savage Secrets holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely loved it.Savage Secrets has all of the same great elements as the other books in the series. It immediately sucks you into the story with an attention-grabbing prologue and from there on out it’s all heart-pounding action, hold-your-breath suspense and fever-inducing romance. Rocco has become a new favorite Titan man for me, with that sexy dimple in his cheek, his quick sense of humor, and his all around bad-a**ery. And the way he was so protective and supportive of Cat totally melted my heart. He had me falling for him hard. And he really met his match in Cat, ace interrogator and mistress of torture. One of my favorite things about the Titan books (besides the sexy heroes) are the heroines. There are no damsels in distress in these books. They are all strong, independent, capable women and Cat was no exception. I loved her fiery temper and Spanish tirades. I loved that just like the other Titan women she wasn’t afraid to hand Jared his a** when he deserved it. It was easy to see why Rocco fell for her. The two had fantastic chemistry right off the bat and were truly a perfect match.“You…sound a little crazy. Just so you know.”The harsh lines on his brow softened, and amusement flickered in his gaze. “We dig crazy. I thought that was our thing.”She smiled and laughed quietly, resting her palms on his flat stomach. “I dig crazy.”Another of my favorite things about the Titan books are the relationships between the Titan men and the ribbing they constantly give each other.Rocco looked at Roman from head to toe to baggage and back again. “Are you wearing loafers?”“Yeah, this wasn’t my idea, buddy.” Roman pulled at his collar.Button down shirt. Pinstripe tie. Sports coat and slacks. “You look f*****’ ridiculous.”“As do you, a******.”Rocco looked down. His outfit mirrored Roman’s. F***. He did look like a tool.Roman reached into a brief case. And now, Rocco had seen it all.“Is that a purse?”“Jared would understand if I pummeled your face in.”I am a huge fan of Cristin Harber’s writing and I highly recommend this book and series. If you like heart-pounding suspense and action, and hot romances between sexy, alpha men and strong, smart women, then this series is for you.

OMG I am in absolute love with this entire series. The Titan Group is a private security entity full of badass men and woman who handle things the US government can't. Each Titan novel is packed with tons of high octane action and whirlwind romances. You can find all of my favorite book flavors mixed into the Titan cocktail. We have gun fights, car chases, explosives, kidnappings, the whole nine yards topped with enough spicy naughtiness to keep the heat up. The action doesn't stop. Harber creates a whole world, with very in depth characters and locations. Cristin does so well with the characters that you know their personalities, likes, dislikes and how they are going to react to any given situation in the novels. And the locations are so descriptive that you can almost believe you just helped rescue a hostage from and Afghani mountain and then spent time in the poshest hotel in Abu Dhabi. Each book has a unique story line and can be read stand alone, however they are best when read in order as a collection to get the full Titan Group experience because most characters carry over into the other books. The Titan series as whole is considered military romance or romantic suspense and my warnings fall in line with the genre. As mentioned above there is tons of action and tension. There is also graphic violence, language and sex. Be advised content is for mature adults 18+ and for-warned one of the books (Savage Secrets) does contain an non-consensual sex scene. It is only one scene, in one book. So, it can be skipped if you don't have the stomach for that. Overall, I really love the books and cannot wait for the next in the series to be released. So how do you start a review for a book that left you speechless in a good way?.....I suppose like this, honest to god......these Titan boys are addictive! I am struggling to put into words how good this book and the whole Titan book series is!Like the books prior, Savage Secrets was a page turner, however I enjoyed taking my time with Rocco....erm I mean taking my time with this book because it was so enjoyable (I suppose I could say I wanted to savour it, you know like a nice glass of wine or quality bar of chocolate lol)It was easy to read, however there was a few errors with duplicate words but not enough to affect the enjoyment factor or my overall reading experience.For me personally I found it to be an engaging and at times an emotional read (there is one dark heartbreaking part where the 'baddie' was truly evil) but as you read on it becomes key to the storyline, as hard as it was to read through it.Okayyyyy back to happy thoughts, I did enjoy all our favourite Titan boys & girls returning from previous books, the secondary characters in these books are IMO what makes the stories great, the characters are believable and each have there own individualities which makes me want to dive in and be part of their gang. There was a few goofy moments which made me laugh out loud too especially Rocco trying to understand Catarina ("Oh for Christ sakes. Ay carrumba, chimichanga" scene was a particular favourite lol)and finally before I bore you to tears with my babbling review.....the epilogue was a nice unexpected surprise, I was left feeling happy, content.....and needing sleep as I read through the night (as you do with good books)So If you love Military, Suspense, Romance, Alpha men, Strong heroines, Engaging story lines, well timed humour, HEA, Book boyfriends that you would kick ya other half out of bed for, then this is the book for you.Loved, Loved, Loved it!, bring on Roman and Beth's story :)

This was the best one yet out of the series. Full of emotion and I don't mind admitting I cried. The rape scene was harrowing and I couldn't believe it was happening thinking something would happen to stop it. I had to stop reading and go watch something light-minded on the tv until I got myself together again it hung over me for a while and made me cry. I also kept looking for Brock amongst the team members hoping he hadn't been excluded from the team and further stories. He was there!!! About 75% through the book and he arrived!! Titan has a full team again! A smashing storyline with plenty of love and angst the pregnancy at the end shocked me and really made me think what would I do under those circumstances? A brilliant read.

I love this series. This has everything hot men, action, suspense and romance.We have met Rocco Savage and after what happened to him in Chased I couldn't wait to read this book. Rocco is not without his secrets, he is a protective gent who will fight for those closest to him. And Catarina Cruz gets close. She is a Spanish firecracker she is strong, independent with a huge heart but has a painful past and she wants revenge.This book I would say is darker and heavier than the previous books. My heart ached for both Rocco and Cat but amongst all the heartache was passion, intimacy and some wonderful touching moments and banter that made me smile. They are a wonderful couple with a deep connection.

A Titan operative, Rocco and a woman, Caterina, working with MI6 meet in London, they end up working together tracking a terrorist and really like each other.This is the best yet of the series but it does have a very harrowing part which readers should be aware of . I actually took a half star off because I didn't get the motivation of the offender to do it as he did. Very disturbing. Her mental recovery wasn't covered too well either.Otherwise it was fabulousSuitable for older readers due to content.

And I thought I loved Jared's story.... then along came Rocco and Cristina. This was a much darker tale but hotter and spicier for it. I was moved to tears at one point and my husband questioned the sharp intakes of breath when the going got really tough for our heroes.The difficult subject of rape was graphic but I believe sensitively handled (admit limited knowledge on my part).A short review as I must hurry to move onto the next book in the series.
