Worth buying. I needed thirty of these: 3.5", 1/4" corners and I had trouble deciding which to buy in my price range. These turned out to be all steel and a nice thickness - the same thickness as what I replaced which were made in the USA brass hinges from home built in 1974. Many reviews for similar products stated concerns about missing screws or overly heavy packaging resulting in box tear upon arrival. Neither happened on this order. No forgotten screws and the package, though heavy, was perfect upon arrival.

Overall really happy with these. Took off a star because for the life of me I couldn't get the pins to come out either pre or post install.

These are nice bright hinges. True to color. They were easy to install somewhat. If you’re off by a millimeter with the screw holes you have to remove it all over to figure out which one was off. But once I got them all up it worked perfectly. I bought these to replace silver standard hinges shown in pictures. I like them so much I’ve bought more for my other doors.

Got these to replace old gold colored ones to use at the same time i was replacing all the doors. They fit great wt in the existing cut outs in the door jam.Minor complaints, but the pin is a bit hard to remove and i had to turn them over and use a punch and a hammer to remove it before installation. Also, be sure to lubricate them as they started to squeak not too long after install. However, some 3in1 oil fixed it right away and now they glide silently.They seem like they will hold up well over time but i have only been using them for probably 3-4 months.

Exactly the same thing I was looking at paying 2$ a piece and hardware store!

I originally ordered another brand that got lost....and opted for these... expedient delivery...the hinge pin required a bit of effort to remove...but the hinges fit perfectly in place of the removed copper/gold hinges.Used hammer and dowl to remove the hinge pin, then oiled the pin for easy insert. Definitely a secure hinge, and solid for the price....no wiggle movement! Very happy! Did the installation with no assistance.Five doors had the hinges replaced!

Recently replaced all brass toned hardware on interior doors. Easy to switch out and these look good. I note, however, that on 3 of my 10 doors, positioning changed slightly. One door would not remain open and two doors no longer matched the strike plate which leads me to believe there is slight variation in length - it only takes a millimeter or two to make life frustrating. I have made some adjustments including a magnetic doorstop for one and handle/ strike adjustments for the other two. Functional but not perfect. Still, I appreciate the look and the price. Just be prepared to make additional adjustments.

After painting the interior doors in my house, I wanted to replace the old paint-slopped-on and not-to-my-taste-finish original hinges (mostly Stanley). These Design House hinges installed perfectly in the original slots and the holes lined up exactly. And the screws were supplied. In addition, the finish is nicer than ones that I bought (screws extra) from the big orange store.

I got the hinges and took them out of their wrapping and they were pretty scratched up. I bought these before and they came in good shape. I am a little disappointed with the condition of these hinges. I guess I will install the very scratched hinges on the bottom of the door and try to put the nicer looking ones in the middle and top.
