The label says: "Packed in the USA" but nothing about country of origin. Their website doesn't even list this product (instead they only list 2.62 & 4.5 oz "onion powder"). I have to say that I do like it, and it has good taste and texture. Congress removed the "constraints" of country of origin labeling due to "good" lobbying efforts. Wikipedia mockingly states that: "The repeal was a part of the omnibus budget bill" so it was hidden in there with all the junk Congress does.

Q: Is the garlic grown in California or China?

Bottle information, small print on the back, says Product of China. Kirkland granulated garlic is a product of California, USA, and it says so on the bottle label. I dumped, unopened, my bottle of McCormick granulated garlic after I got it because it was from China, and ordered the Kirkland..

Q: What is the expiration date? How long does it stay fresh and shelf-stable?

No expiration date. Stays years (I'm really not kidding). I always bought my granulated onion and garlic at Costco; however, they don't carry the onion anymore. The last bottle I bought had to be 21 to 3 years old. Hope this helps.
