Tried and True
I have been crafting for a few years and these were the first blending tools I owner. Since then, I have tried most of the new solutions to blending; domes sponges, brushes and little finger dobbers and I think at this point I like these the most. I typically blend archival distressed ink or distressed oxides and these are perfect for that. Just be careful to dab off a bit before you put the applicator to paper to avoid a ring of ink. Another tip that I learned from a Tim Holtz video, put a small amount of hot glue between the Velcro and the applicator, that way the sponges will stay on better and the Velcro will not lift from the applicator when you switch sponges.

They work
I bought these before the blending brushes came out. They work well, and I now buy the smaller TH DI cubes and stick a pad under the cube. The walls of the cube hold the pad and I never mix up the colors when I'm blending. For larger pads, the TH DIOxides, add a bit off hook and loop tape to the bottom to hold the pad. Don't mix the pads, even tho the color is the same - the chemical compound is different and it will mess up your ink pads!

Work nicely!
These are really nice for blending! I got them to go with my Distress Ink pads to use for different projects in our homeschool. I'm excited to make homemade cards too! These foams blend well and I like that there are so many in a pack so that I can have one for each color of ink I have.

Item inside package was smashed
I like this product very much...but as you can see the package came smashed! At least 4 or more pads will be unusable. This is a rebuy because I liked the value and needed more of the item... but this time was sent in a plastic non padded envelope...it was also purchased during the "prime day event" and the cost was not different...three of the items I purchased came in an individual non padded envelope...thank goodness it was not a liquid item...Please be more careful when packaging and shipping items!Thank you!

Love these for sponging ink on cardstock
I found these work much better than the square foams for sponging ink onto paper. If you move in a circular motion, it just makes so much more sense to have a circular sponge. The square sponges worked fine for distressing edges of paper but now people are using sponges to create gradients of color on paper like you would use a brayer for and for that, the square sponges are not as effective as the round ones. You get so many in this pack for such a great price, its super easy to wash them out and use again rather than buying a bunch of wood applicators for them. The two wood applicators I bought that you get in the set they sell them in feels more than enough when you can get this many sponges for such an amazing price.

Right Tool for the Job
This product made my scrapbooking project so much easier. I typically use a larger sponges or sponge daubers. However, the size of these sponges, along with their low profile, made them the best tool for my project. The density of the actual sponge was also perfect. It was absorbent but still allowed for consistency. The porosity of some sponges cause an uneven look in the finished product.I also used the blending tools for a few of my wood projects. They allowed for easy application of stain to areas with discoloration. Again, the size and low-profile made them the perfect choice.I will definitely buy these again when I run out.

Can be used with acrylic (paint)
If you have looked answers to questions somebody firmly they can't. Not sure they have tried! I looked for them after watching a you-tube form and from experience realised you mustn't let the axcrlic paint try on the ......or you will have to use hand sanitiser (75% alcohol to try and loosen it, but the obvious answer is not to let pads dry by keeping some water beside the plate- same as you do with your brayer.Value for money - you get what you pay for. The handle is well made and comfortable to hold and will last, The packet of pads won't last for, but is unreasonable to expect them to.!About an hour after receiving the order confirmation I received 'confirmation' from an American delivery company claiming I had tax to pay (in $) saying if I didn't pay my parcel would be returned to the sender. Obviously some kind of scam and nobody would fall for it - but the sender'seemail address gave further clues.Written here to remind everybody there are all sorts going the sounds - never pay, never give any bank card information. delete the email straight away,Examples1 -plain paper, 2 over other layers -top being bronze with texture 3 using templates not particularly successful . Would be fine with wider spaces or at the edge of template.Just spent several minutes trying to take off sponge pad as I thought , only to realise it had already bee removed . There are 2 white layers, and the bottoming is the velcro- not what I was trying to do!```very well wort buying the extra-ads ---- indeed well worth buying both as it adds variety to Geli plate printing.
