Perfect size but you may need to adjust the blades
The blades would not turn when it arrived. They were only slightly out of true and a very minor tweak realigned them. This could be because of the packaging as it was very firmly secured in cardboard and perhaps was pushed out of true when packed.It now works perfectly and there is a noticeable difference in heat coming from the side of the stove where the fan sits.I would have given it 5 stars but for having to adjust the blades.

Great - until the capacitor goes
I bought one of the original Ecofan models, with three gold blades. It was absolutely great, until its capacitor gave up the ghost. And here's my problem I bought a new capacitor, then a second one a year or so later; but when it came to buying a third, there was no easy source to find it. I eventually found one in a country shop, but it only worked for a few weeks. For me, this is the major flaw of the model.

Very noisy
The fan seems to move air well but it seems to get to a temperature and then rattles so badly we have to take it off the stove.

Quite and efficient
We have a wood stove without a blower and this has severely helped to distribute heat throughout the room.
