I used this switch to convert a fixture with an expensive proprietary cfl bulb to use a medium base socket and a led bulb. Works great. The expensive cfl's "seven year life" was about a year and a half.

JUNK!!
Bought two for replacements I have waited a few months to replace old cells one package had already been opened ( I should have inspected packaging at time of purchase ) it did not work at all. Installed the second one and the light came on and stayed on at 3:00 PM full light touched the sensor and it died total waste of money! On my way to local hardware store to buy two more sensors.

It work pretty much as it should
It work pretty much as it should. It is extremely sensitive to light. It turns off the light if it senses any near by light at all. If I turn on my Garage light that is 20 feet away this light will turn off. Take this in to consideration when you choose a mounting spot for this light.
