I'd heard mixed things about whether getting ice packs like these would be beneficial for postpartum and considered getting something reusable or DIYing ice packs. I'm sure both of those options are also great, but for me it was the right call and just so easy and convenient to have a big pack of these on hand. The cold doesn't last super long, but was enough to give pain relief without being too cold. They're too bulky to be out and about much, but the size worked just fine for being in bed and around the house in. I'd get these again for postpartum recovery.

Life savers after giving birth. These pads were very comfortable and the coldness was perfect for healing. The pad was easy to use. Great value for money spent. I would recommend for mommies to purchase these pads as you are discharged from the hospital.

these have been such a lifesaver after a 3rd degree tear and internal and external stitches, i refused to waste money on the “name brand” postpartum ice packs that are twice or 3 times as much as these, i've found these last about a half an hour but usually my pain is subsided by then especially using tucks or witch hazel pads in combination. these have by far been the best item i bought for postpartum, if you get anything get these!!

I had some complications with pain and a lot of bleeding after a procedure. This product did fairly well with absorption and giving me some relief. Unfortunately the cool sensation only last about an hour or so, so I went through a lot of them. And they do feel cold. The box lasted me about a week. Not too bad! I would definitely buy them again. Super easy to use and convenient! You can take them everywhere and not worry about them melting like you would ice packs. I didn't have to worry about ice packs and making a mess. And I saved space in my freezer.

Very helpful after vaginal delivery to help healing faster and relieve the pain from stitches.Cold pack last about 15-20 minute and no mess which was perfect for pain after vaginal delivery. Highly recommended.

These were very cold and stayed cold for a couple hours. Way better than Frida’s pads.

I've used these on two occasions now. Once postpartum for my 3rd degree tears and now again for post-surgery recovery.They have truly been a life-saver. There's no poking or rock hard ice chunks to worry about. They are easy to open (the plastic bag easily pulls apart at either end). They are mostly easy to activate, but sometimes you have to hold it from one end so that all the filler falls to the other end and try to fold it there where the filler is more bunched up in order to get the "pop" to activate the coolant. A slight learning curve but you get the hang of it after a couple times.It gets really cold and helps with the swelling and takes down the pain a little bit (good when every little bit of relief you can get is worth a diamond mine). And the pad part can handle a good bit of blood/discharge.I would recommend these to anybody who's about to have a baby or about to have surgery in a sensitive area. In fact, I have recommended them to people I know in real life.
