How long does it take to charge from the 12 volt plug and solar and mains? What is the Amp draw from the charger?

If battery is connected to 12v to recharge and i stop the car, is there a way for it to stop recharging so it doesn't suck my car battery dry?

It depends on whether or not the 12V in your car stays live when the engine is off. In my experience, most don't. The battery itself doesn't have a cutoff that I am aware of. I keep it plugged into a receptacle that isn't live when the engine is off and there is no draw that I am aware of.

can you jump start or trickle charge a dead car battery with this?

Dometic thanks you for your questions. There are a few notes on this to explain; 1. How long to charge from solar? a. It depends on the panel’s amperage output. Check your panel specs. The PLB40’s DC and AC input is regulated at 8A giving it a 5hr charge time from 0-100%. 2. Largest panel- 180W. 3. Cannot support multiple panels.
