I was needing a diverter for a pond pump so I could use a couple decorative water spouts. I found this item after unsuccessful trips to several local stores. This was well made, substantial feel, with 3 diverter options of the hose size needed. The knob to close off or open the slots was stiff and hard to move at first but loosened up as we were trying to figure it all out. It works well with my pond allowing a small waterfall, and spitting decorative fish. Reasonable price. Easy service and delivery for a basic piece difficult to find locally. Thank you.

Screws in nicely, even with teflon tape wrapped on threads. Good fit for 1.5" pool hose on other end.

I am a realtively new pool owner. This adaptor made my pool cleanup more efficient. It screws perfectly into the skimmer drain and makes a tight connection with the filter hose. Good price for 3 although I only need 1.

These fit both our original pool hoses and also another brand generic hose (which isn’t true to the correct dimensions). However, these lack O rings to ensure a good/leak free seal. We happen to have spare rubber o rings, but there isn’t a groove in the adapter to hold them in place. After trying several sizes of rings, I found ones which were thin enough to not interfere with connecting the hose, but thick enough to seal. Getting the ring to stay in place was annoying, since it wanted to slide down the connector, due to lack of groove in the adapter. But with a bunch of back and forth and rocking and twisting of the hose it worked great. We also use plastic hose clamps (not included) to help avoid leaks/keep the hose connected.

These worked perfect on my pool pump, I only needed 2 of them but now I have a spare.

I used this to connect my Bestway 12ftx40" pool hoses to a Hayward SP1091LX Skimmer.I also used it to connect a Hayward SP1419E 1-inch inlet jet (eyeball).These adapters fit everything perfectly.
