The Tea Masters Prism Tea Bags - English Breakfast Premium (1x100)

I was a little wary of buying this tea as so many loose leaf teas I have bought were nothing more than dust rather th leaves. I needn't have worried as it is proper leaf tea. Great flavour no bitterness despite a strong character. I take my tea either black or with a very tiny amount of milk so I am very critical. First class breakfast tea that can be taken at any time of day., hence the 5 stars.

I really love drinking tea and was looking for a decent loose leaf breakfast tea that wasn't too expensive, to drink every day. I am very happy with this tea - it has good depth of flavour and the leaves are a decent size (unlike Steenberg's breakfast tea which was weak and dusty). The packaging is good - it has an easy seal press top. It is great value in the 1kg pack too. If you like a decent cup of tea I can recommend this highly.

Bought this initially as a bulk tea for the lockdown "in case"... it turned out to be one of the nicest English Breakfast teas I have tasted and we now have it on a repeat order! Best yet, it even costs less than most tea bags.This is a genuine large leaf tea, meaning you get a lot of tea flavour without the excess tannins you often find with tea bags or some loose-leaf teas. It also means that you get very few "fines" dropping through the filter, unlike some you can buy.Excellent tea, highly recommended.

This tea has proper tea leaves. Nice clean flavour, which has a touch of sweetness initially, followed by a malty taste. I added 2 teaspoons to a Suki teapot and left for around 5 minutes. It has a deep colour when poured. Just the right strength for me. Very impressed for the price. I would recommend and I will buy this tea again.

The parcel arrived in the evening and at the weekend, so there’s dedication. The tea came in a sealed bag that was easy to open and reseal, keeping the contents fresh. The tea itself proved to be large black tea leaves and not the usual finely crushed, dusty leaves that you might get in a tea bag. Brewing the tea therefore takes a little bit longer, but what’s an extra minute in getting a decent cuppa? It is slightly different from my usual blend, but I’m getting used to it. I make my tea in a pot, so I can’t say how good this is for infuser spoons or for filling re-usable bags, but it works well for me.Would I buy it again? Well, not for a while: I do drink a lot of tea but this is a very large pack!Would I recommend it? Yes, if you like tea and don’t want to use non-recyclable tea bags. If you’re firmly wedded to a-bag-in-a-mug tea then this probably isn’t ever going to be for you, with or without my recommendation.

Having spent some time researching a replacement for the Huffkins large leaf tea, as it is quite expensive and they have reduced their online discount, I decided to try this tea. The reviews were positive and at less than half the price of the Huffkins tea offered a substantial saving.Taste is of course subjective. To me. this tea tasted better than the Huffkins; stronger and quite different, which to my taste buds was more enjoyable. I have a single person tea pot (Chatsford) and 1.5 teaspoons of this tea provides a perfect large mug of tea. This is a great large leaf tea - no dust issues - and exceedingly good value. I highly recommend this tea for those who prefer a stronger taste and colour over what might be expected from a breakfast tea.

It's good quality tea leaf. Certainly unto the standard of any supermarket leaf tea.Much better than the dusty CTC "cut leaf" teas.But I've tasted much more full flavoured teas - normally I'd expect a more "malty" taste. ( I experimented with brewing times and strengths - which helps)Whilst it's much better value than the better tasting teas, so no complaints, I think I'll pay the extra in the future

Good quality loose tea at good value. The tea leaves are of good size and not too powdery. Taste is very good too. I ordered 1kg of this tea instead of my usual smaller individual packs from well-known London tea merchants as it had good reviews and it seemed better value. The only disadvantage that the whole quantity comes in one large bag but it has a good seal on it so hope that it will not loose any flavour/quality over time as it is for my own individual use.
