Good fit. These are a big time saver. Watch out for different models for similar Honda engines.

So the pull start on my Honda GX160 engine messed up. This is on an air compressor that I use daily, and it broke on a Friday. A local lawnmower shop typically keeps these in stock, but not today. In addition their price is $53. So I got online to see if anyone else had one. Stumbled across this for $14.95 and a guaranteed arrival to my home the following Monday at no extra charge. So I purchased it, then I happened to be off that Monday anyways, and low and behold it showed up on Monday! 5 minutes later I was back in business with no work time lost due to having to wait on a new pull start.NOTE: I'm not giving the longevity a high rating because only time will tell how long this will last.

Easy to install , fairly sturdy material.

The HS828S blower has a GX 240 with a different starter from the one used in other applications of that engine. That starter is nearly impossible to find, and mine is rusting apart. To make this one fit, I use dikes and needle noses to nibble off the plastic ring around the pawls, indicated by the green arrow. A dremel would work much better. I also had to use longer screws and put 3 little washers between it and the engine so the spool wouldn't drag. The starter engagement to the motor isn't perfect, but seems to work. Part quality seems fine for the price, so far it has probably started 25 times with no issues.
