My essential gardening tool
I used to work at a plant nursery, and I started borrowing these knives from the florist. They are so sharp, I use them for gardening probably as often, or more often than my pruners (I’m a horticultural professional). I love them as pairing knives in the kitchen as well.

Great bang for the buck
They work great, clip small branches clean. Only drawback is that the jaws don't open very wide.

Glad I found these floral knives
I worked in a floral shop years ago, where we used floral knives with red handles. After years and years of floral work, using high quality kitchen pearing knives, I remembered these floral knives. I took a chance and looked for these on Amazon and found these. Wow! I was blown away! They are very sharp, had the perfect thin blade, and exactly what I had remembered about them back in the day. I don't know why I never thought to order these knives. I created four large funeral arrangements using only one knife, with no problems at all. I highly recommend!

Accurate functional replica of the original from the 60's
Almost a photo-finish representation of the original "Florian" clippers from the 1960's.Provides phenomenal cutting abilities. This version is missing virtually any markings to show manufacturer or country of origin. While there is some mis-alignment of blades, careful application of cutting effort results in very good cuts.

The best cutting tool I've used!
I've had the same tool for many years (at least 20, not always in full time use, tho) and it still works well for everything now, except soft stems. It's been a workhorse for so many things! Recently I started designing at a hospice and source flowers from the garden so ordered new clippers to be used when I'm there. The shape of the blades allows me to reach down into the plant to cut the stems. That's a plus. I would buy it again if I needed it.

Not like they used to ve
I have used Claus Clippers for 25 years. These are not nearly as well made. They are sticky when they open and close. The blades are not nearly as sharp.

They don’t work well on anything bigger than 1/4
Very disappointing I had Florian ratchet cutters for years. I was hoping to find a replacement. These don’t work well at all.

The only pruner you will ever need
Why anyone would use anything but a ratchet pruner I'll never know! I am a Master Gardener and it is a staple in my garden tool kit. The ratchet mechanism cuts through branches with ease, and no effort on my part. This is my 2nd one, the first lasted through 5 years of heavy use. And the icing on the cake is how cheap it is!
