Masterplug 10 Gang, 1m Surge Protected Tower Extension Lead with 2 x USB Charging Points

Got a new puppy and thought it may be time to tidy the wires behind my TV. I had a similar one to this made by Duronic which was ok, but I started getting an occasional arc from it. I wasn’t sure if the surge protection had gone on it or not, so I bought a master plug one. This sort of thing is the main area that I would not usually go cheap on, and I also try not to buy plug sockets from Amazon.However I was very pleased with this, I’ve not seen this product in DIY stores or anywhere so I thought it was worth checking out, and I am pleased that I did.It’s actually got slightly less space for bulky plugs than the Duronic one, because it’s more compact, however I think I prefer that. If you have bulky plugs that you can’t reconfigure, then maybe this isn’t for you.However it allows you to connect a lot of things safely and tidily.

This product is good value for money and does what it says. However, the cable is quite short so you will need to place it quite close to a plug socket.

Very handy and versatile extension but slightly disappointing in relation to the length options for the main power lead and the fact that the USB ports are near to the base rather than the top. I personally would have preferred the USB ports to be at the top as the the cable needs to be removed when not in use more so than the normal plug sockets

Great value for money dies what it says. Looks so neat behind my tv and tidy wires all plugged in one place and able to charge phone and soundbox all in one place!

Makes it easy to hide all those cables from view. A reliable make that I always trust.

Excellent surge protected multi adapter for use behind my TV. Great being able to use it vertically and horizontally using the simple little stand.Plenty of space between the sockets for different sized plugs and the USB charging ports are handy.Nice short cable too as I didn't need a massive extension - keeps things tidy.

Used for computer

The base is a little hard to fit and feels a bit less robust than the main body. Otherwise I think it’s good, the indicator lights are clear and bright. I’m very pleased with it generally.
