Ridgid Jobmax 12-volt Multi-tool with Tool-free Head R9700

Never thought I needed one of these, but this is my second one. Don't know how I lived without it. Does a variety of jobs from cutting plastic pipe, case molding, detail sanding, flush cutting nails. Easy to control and plenty of power for small jobs as intended.

My last one lasted 4 or 5 years , the main unit, not battery, this one a few months and I don't recommend this product anymore!!!

This is one of my favorite "toy". I use it for a bit more than a year (bought at Home Depot). As the rest of my RIDGID tools this one is just great. I use mostly for drywall and wood, less for metal cutting (remodeling, cabinets installation....). Cannot complain and I would definitely recommend it to others, Love it! Powerful enough, can cut precisely in places where it was a headache before I got this tool.

Watchout for the kit, the cutting blades are for wood only, I could not do my job as I had nail heads, I had to get wood/metal for a cost $30 for 2 replacements, also availability of accessories seam less than the big brand names

It is a handy tool, I like ridged tools BUT!!! BEWARE OF THE TOOL THE LIFE-TIME SEVICE AGREEMENT...IT IS ONLY HONORED IF YOU BUT IT FROM " HOME DEPOT" OR A FEW OTHER VENDERS YOU WILL FIND OUT ABOUT WHEN YOU REGESTER...SUPRIZE...THAT SUCKS. This is my second multi tool the last one lasted about 4 years and I used it a lot. RIDGID NEEDS TO DISCLOSE THEIR POLICY IN BOLD PRINT THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU BUY FROM THEIR LIST OF FEW VINDERS...I AM DESCUSTED WITH RIDGID...I'M GOING BACK TO MILWAUKEE TOOLS... AFTER ALL IT'S THE LIFE TIME SERVICE AGREEMENT THAT GOT MY ATTENSION. I AM A PROFESSIONAL BUILDER RETIRED...BUT STILL FLIP HOUSES....I have a lot of tools...70% Milwaukee 20% ridged, 10% dewalt tools. If I didn't need this tool today I would return it for another brand...but that would not be fair to AMAZON, they make my buying easy and stress free. good job AMAZON.

DO NOT BUY the refurbished/reconditioned tool----Price difference is not worth! My recondined tool ONLY worked for a week in 1 job and broke down....still under warranty but it will take a week to fix.....ended up buying a BRAND NEW at Home Depot for about $20 more than paid originally for reconditioned tool!

Blades and attachments doesn’t Doesn’t fit very good. But Tool by itself working perfectly
