MagswitchReversible Featherboard

I wanted to have a featherboard that didn't have to be used with the miter slot and that's just what this does.

I actually returned this item as it does not fit the title or photo. What you get is a rectangular plastic part of the “feather board”. Mag switches are not included. The feathers of this “feather board” is not included. You get the holder of the feathers and mag switches. Totally useless unless you choose to but those item separately. So don’t buy this if you’re not willing to spend some additional $30 or more to make it functional.

Works great as a zero offset feather board, I know these are supposed to be used with the magnetic base, and I do use them like that on my table saw. But my router table is wood and not magnetic. You could rout a slot in the top and get a featherboard which rides in the slot for a lot more. Or you could screw these onto the edge of any scrap plywood in you shop with #6 wood screws and clamp to your router table. That way you don't need to route that fancy slot which just gets in the way most of the time.

The pics in the description are deceiving because the only thing included is the feather board not the base or magswitches.

Nice featherboard, good mounting features. I live in a dry climate (LA, CA) so one of mine got brittle and broke. Fair price. I mounted one on a vertical board attached to the saw fence to hold stock down as it passes through.
