Brewmaker - Brewmaker IPA Home Brew Kit - United Kingdom

this was my first homebrew kit i did, got some advice and used 1kg of light spray malt instead of the brewing sugar. i followed the instructins to the letter (apart from my fermenting temp was a bit low at times). but it worked and came out at about 4.2% ABV I had a few pints after about 2 weeks in the pressure barrel and it was nice if a little sweet and acidic (new basically) but it did have a great head and was quite clear. its now about a month old and it is as clear as a bell and tastes really nice. The acid test is if you bought it in a pub would you buy another, and i sure would.It's more of a nice well made, tasty best bitter rather than an IPA, if you know beer then you'll know IPA's are hoppy (what i like), this isnt that hoppy, my plan is to get another one of these kits and add my own hop pellets to the fermenter to IPA it up a bit.My advice, be overly thorough and careful with sanitation, use spray malt rather than sugar, but mostly BE PATIENT, or you'll end up with what i have, 25% of your beer left just as its getting nicer and nicer :)
