Good product even takes stains out of carpet
Good product even takes stains out of carpet. It doesn't remove ink you must use alcohol for that. It doesn't remove set in stains so be sure to spray well before putting in the hamper. For urine on j just about anything vinegar works best pour it on the area lets say carpet. Be generous .let sit about 5 min then dab with paper towels don't use rubbing motion you are just settińg in the stain with the urine stain. When the stain seams to be up sprinkle baking soda over the spot but only if you dabbled long enough to get most of the moisture up. Use a dry paper towel wadded up and lightly go over the baking soda then let it set for at least thirty minutes. Vacuum and stain and smell are gone and it's like it was never there.

Stains no more
Continue to come back to this product for our kids stains. Our teenagers have learned to do their own laundry, but have not mastered pretreating stains. Luckily this product has been able to save a few shirts and pants after they had already been washed and dried with a stain untreated. When we find the kids have washed/dried a stain we have to use shout process of spray, gently rub stain, let sit for a day or 2, spray some more, gently rub and wash. Only a few times did it not get the stain fully out, but only reduced the appearance, but not much you can do when you don't know how long the stain went untreated sometimes.

Disappointing.
I use shout gel for years and love it. I put it on collars, cuffs, food stains and anything organic. I can throw it in the hamper for a week. No, I didn't test before using. I had a fairly new but washed set of towels that were over my usual price range but we're so pretty. This took the color out. One I left it too long before washing. I was used to the gel with the brush top. Then I didn't test. I have used it since on something I spilled something on in the kitchen, and ran to the washing machine, disappointed based on the brand.

Long Time Efficient Friend
I have used Shout for a long time and it is a reliable strong cleaner. I think Fantastic and Mr. Clean are less desirable, but I can't tell you why. It is most likely because Shout is most familiar to me, not based on scientific review.Shout Laundry Stain RemoverIt is a familiar, easy practice to just Shout It Out. I like that it is a fast-acting, concentrated formula that clings, penetrates, and lifts out stains. The formula is safe for all colorfast fabrics and effective in cool water. The handy trigger bottle can be refilled. I think that soaking a pre-wash batch in Oxy- Clean may also work well, but it is more trouble, and I always seem to be in a hurry. I go with what I know gets the job done.

Works pretty good
First off, this is an excellent value at 3 bottles for 5 dollars! The spray itself works pretty good though, which is obviously the most important thing. For some stains I do have to spray the article and then let the piece of clothing sit for a while (and repeat sometimes), but overall it is pretty good.I have been able to get the yellow armpit stains out of white t-shirts by spraying generously and letting the shirt sit overnight. Other stains, I spray the item and let it sit anywhere from 5-20 minutes and have good results. The only stain I have not been successful with so far is wine. I have a cream colored hoodie that I dripped wine down the front of. I sprayed it immediately and let it sit for about an hour, then washed it. It only removed a slight bit of the purple color. I have sprayed and rewashed it at least 15 times now. I have soaked it well with the Shout and let it sit overnight even, but I just can't get it out. I did use Clorox2 directly on it as well a few times. It still has a faint light brownish staining. It was the first time I ever wore the hoodie too, so it's a bummer. Otherwise I would have thrown it away by now. I'll give it a few more washes yet, I suppose. This Shout spray is definitely worth a try though, especially at the price here at Amazon. It works well and it has not discolored or faded any colored garments, even when left sitting for a while.

Saved my sofa! And a white lace dress. I am impressed.
I bought this on a whim to add to a Prime Pantry box. It has saved my sofa twice in the past month. Once from pen ink and once from a blood stain! I had to spray the pen ink stain about 6x over the course of 48 hours. At the end of the ordeal, I scrubbed it with a wet cloth. It is about 95% lifted from the fabric and only noticeable upon close inspection. For the blood, it was about 3-4 sprays over a 24 hour period. It lifted about 97% completely. It also took chocolate out of a white lace dress. All that to say - I am quite pleased with the $3ish investment that I poured into this bottle and when it is gone - I will buy another! Thanks, SHOUT!

Still stained
I have used this on multiple stains from ketchup, mud, grease and don’t feel it works very well as we still end up with a stain. I even did the grease right away after it was splattered onto my shirt so that is disappointing. It makes a little difference but doesn’t keep a stain from forming.

Bye-bye Stains
I love this stuff. I spray any stains before I toss a garment into the laundry basket. In my experience, it doesn't seem to harm the item if you spray it several days before you wash it--it doesn't seem to harm the fabric. I recommend it to anybody.
