Sylvania GTE DEK/DFW 500W 120V 25 Hour Projector Lamp Light Bulb

I've been trying to find a replacement bulb for my old slide projector, probably purchased in the 1970's. i ordered one on Amazon and tried it out in my projector this morning and it doesn't fit. The cost which included shipping was $55. I would like to return it. I would love to find a bulb that would work in my projector which is still in good condition. We used it the past 2 weekends enjoying slides with family using the old light bulb. Unfortunately it burned out and I was hoping the one I purchased on Amazon would work. It didn't. I would like to return it.

exact replacement for the original. works as expected. Nice to view our many old slides with our old carousel projector again!

Slide projector

Price was too high, but it is an antique that we're talking about and I don't believe they make them anymore. I needed it to complete a project so what else could one do.

It worked perfectly and fit in our old Keystone projector allowing us to review all our old slides!!
