I purchased the gold because I felt it would look more luxe and it did not disappoint. I love the initial as well! I will have to find ways to maintain the color because I know it will turn if I sweat. I’ve bathed with it on five time unintentionally, and it hasn’t turned color, thank God!It is very lightweight and delicate. It can let a while if maintained with care. I suggest purchasing two. I just made my second purchase, a replacement gold and then a silver! I also love that it is not long. It can be adjusted so it isn’t too long or to high. The longest length falls right at the top of the chest bone.

I've worn this almost daily for a month, take longs baths and showers in it, and it's still holding up shiny gold. I'm very pleased with this great value necklace and I didn't expect it to last this long especially since I have not been taking care of it.

Very good quality!!! Personally I avoid taking a shower with cheaper jewelry just because I want them to last longer but with this necklace I take a shower and I sweat while wearing it and so far the color hasn’t faded or anything. Very cute
