Excellent for well water filled pools!
Our well water has a lot of heavy metals. Whenever I shock the pool my water immediately turns a nasty looking greenish - brown from all the copper and iron in the water. When I add this hth Clarifier for metals my water quickly returns to its original inviting blue. I have a 20x40' inground pool with an 8' deep end and it only takes one bottle to clear my water. I have trusted and used hth products for nearly 3 decades. I recommend them highly.

Great for our plaster pool
We use it weekly and our white plaster stays clean and smooth. We still scrub it weekly, but this stuff really helps. #MAGA

Works as advertised.
I think anyway.... I'm new to pools this year and have learned a lot. This was helpful in balancing and removing some of the deposits on my liner. It looked like a flocculent in that I had to vacuum three times to get the black stuff off the bottom of the pool for the next week, but then the pool was crystal again. Also made sure to backwash and clear the sand filter after use. A lot. Spent some water to get my old pool back right, but it seemed to work. I wish it came in a bigger bottle for my bigger pool.

Metal Stains are TOUGH to handle
Nothing van get rid of metal once you have it but this stuff keeps it in check as long as you don't let chlorine get above 1.5. Use HTH Polyquat 60 for algae and this stuff works pretty good. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the price almost doubled since my last buy in July.....what;s up with that?????

Worked. Had rust building up on walls of the pool.
Worked. Had rust building up on walls of the pool. Used the whole bottle at one time at the beginning of the active filtration system kicking in. Ran filtration all day. Walls look so much better the next day. Recommend. Paid full price for Metal & Stain Defense.

Stubborn stains
It didn’t get the stains out, but not sure if it was the product not working or the stains were too old. That’s why I gave it a ‘middle star’ rating because I don’t know if it could’ve been effective.
