Love this!!
I read a lot of reviews on this machine. Its not expensive but was pleasantly surprised, the quality is really good, really easy to install, and does sound great, once you read and do the equaliser correctly. After 5 hours of singing (sounding good to) i fell in love with this bit of kit, i hope the neighbours didn't find it so painful either.Downsides :Microphone leads are nit long enough. The remote control buttons are not very responsive AT ALL, and you must keep the remote laser in line if sight for it to work the machine. But literally thats the only minor complaints we have, otherwise i would very much recommend this bit of kit.

Really good. But...
On the whole, I’m pleased with the system for the money however there are shortfalls which I’ve just had to learn to live with. The biggest disappointment was realising that I couldn’t connect to my TV sound system without a terrible lag on the microphone which basically made it impossible to use. I tried EVERYTHING to rectify this problem, spending hours surfing looking for answers. It seems that this is quite common if you link to systems with a connected sound system (SONOS in my case) and unless you can bypass your TV settings, you won’t get satisfactory results. Luckily I own a guitar amp which I ended up using instead and just played the video source (the words) through the TV. You could use a separate HiFi and speakers if you own them (as long as it has sound inputs).Another disappointment was that it's a pretty painful process trying to convert your disc content to USB. I ended up emailing customer support. They did respond but only with a rather unhelpful ‘please read the manual’. The system does do this but expect to spend time on the floor in front of your TV.Also, the remote with the VS600 has pretty poor functionality and unresponsive at distance.Although the above makes it sound like I hate this system, I have still enjoyed it once set up and for the money, I would say it's a good buy. But don’t necessarily expect immediate plug and play if you don’t have the right set up on your TV. When you do get it up and running, its great fun and you’ll be apologising to the neighbours the next morning.

Unreal machine, perfect for young and old
Quality is excellent.Very easy to setup and install.Sound is great once you get the settings right for whoever is singing - easily adjusted.Got 2 wireless microphones as well as the wired ones ecause when drink is involved the leads just don't reach to all areas of the room :-)Great device and is bringing lots of fun, laughter and love to our evenings during this pandemic and lockdown.Highly recommended and at a very affordable price.

Don’t waste your money
This really is very poor value for money. TV set up is straightforward enough but the on-screen graphics, menus, user interface and limited DVD-based music library would have been disappointing in the 1990s. Vocal sound quality is rubbish too with a weird delay and unacceptable distortion.

Looked good but didn't work out of the box
We experienced several issues during installation and setup so despite the supplier's assistance to resolve an issue with bluetooth connectivity we decided to return it for a refund. We may have just been unlucky so that's why I have still given 3 stars as the unit looked good and could have performed well.Unfortunately we were unable to get either of the wired microphones to work and whilst trying to adjust the volume control it disappeared inside the case! Secondly, the bluetooth connectivity did not work when using an HDMI connection to our AV system. We were advised by technical support to use the analogue AV and video connections following which the device became visible and could be paired. Thanks to to technical support for their help in trying to resolve this, but strange that it wouldn't work whilst using HDMI.

easy to set up - but use a hdmi lead
I bought this item as being an 80's guy i love a bit of a sing song with the wife and generally after a drink - this system is perfect for a number of reasons ..1.. easy to set up - plug in the mains and connect to the tv - it comes with leads but i recommend a hdmi lead (not supplied) for better quality2.. It is a DVD player as well - so can just play DVD's as well3.. The machine is multi region so plays dvds from all over the world4.. Easy to use - play the dvd and sing along with the microphones suppliedBad point - The remote control could be better - its confusing....Overall i strongly recommend this machine

Poor remote , poor sound, and spied of songs vary … terrible machine
Poor remote, having to press really hard and point directly at the machine.Sound quality through a top of the range Sony av and mission speakers is shocking .Song are clunky, too fast or to slow .Set up is difficult , not very user friendly , had a cheap machine some years ago with Breyer quality .Avoid!! And pay the extra !!
