A Good Year (Ein gutes Jahr) [Import-Germany, Region Free Blu-ray]

Really like this movie. The scenery and acting is great. The romance and comedy a delight and makes you long to move to France and buy a vineyard. There is a moral to the story which is no one died and put on their tombstone "I wish I would have spent less time with family and doing what I loved and worked more instead". The movie plays well. The sound and music are a treat and its a go to and a great standby I can't play enough

Very Entertaining watch it often great scenery

The plot and circumstances are silly but it features very attractive actors and a beautiful location. In the end I'd rate it as "watchable" but be prepared to make leaps in the plot and storyline continuity. Again, the attractive actors and location setting are worth mentioning. A solid "chick flick" sort of movie.

I swear I have watched this video 1,000 times. I own it. Why did I rent it? Because I was at work and the team wanted to see what I was raving about. This is one of my most favorite movies!

We noticed that this movie (A Good Year) was available on Amazon as an HD purchase for our streaming download library on Amazon. We love this movie and now it is near Blu-ray quality with the help of our new Sony Blu-ray 4K player.

Much overlooked treasure. You'll laugh from beginning to end.

J'ai adoré ce film .C'est une comédie sans prétention , mais superbement interprétée ( le "couple" R.Crowe /M.Cotillard est très crédible, ils sont adorables ) , par tous les comédiens , y compris les seconds rôles .Certes, il y a un peu de caricature des français , surtout en début de film, mais la dernière partie "rachète " largement ces petites piques :-)L'histoire n'est pas très réaliste, d'où le titre que je donne à ce commentaire, mais on suit avec bonheur l'apprentissage des "vraies valeurs" par le personnage de R.Crowe au contact des provençaux , le cadre est superbe,il y a de l'humour, de l'amour, de l'émotion, de jolis personnages de femmes, et on éteint le lecteur de DVD avec un grand sourire aux lèvres .Un feel good movie, donc, mais bien réalisé, et sans niaiserie , à l'anglaise plutôt qu'à l'américaine .
