Beautiful!
The media could not be loaded. I couldn't stop eyeing the color Sunday Tea. Honestly, I wasn't even sure exactly what I wanted to paint with it but I was so inspired by the color I took the leap and decided to make over my bedroom furniture.I got the 16oz jar and did two coats on my nightstand, 2 coats on a big lamp, and started on a buffet table that's been in my basement. I still have maybe a quarter of the jar left which is not enough to do my tall dresser, but I think it would've been plenty if I hadn't messed around with the lamp and buffet table.I used a primer, but I honestly don't think it was necessary. To apply I used synthetic bristle brushes to cut in, and a 4 inch foam roller for the rest. The roller did leave some texture but I think that was easier to sand smooth than brush strokes. I also made sure my brush and roller were slightly damp, and kept a spray bottle handy to mist the piece/thin out the paint as needed. It was so easy to work with. I love that it dries fast, so by the time you're finished with your first code you can go right back over with the second one. I also love that it didn't have any funky odors and was easy to clean up and clean out of my paint brushes so I can use them again. It's holding up fairly well, although I will say it's not a super durable finish. It does pick up scratches and scuffs rather easily so I am definitely planning to get some wax or something to seal & protect it. Compared to my experience using the really cheap chalk paint from big box stores, the quality of this paint is 100x better and well worth the money.

Best chalk paint
This is my first project using chalk paint. I painted my old dresser with this and it turned out beautifully. The chalk paint is super easy to work with and is very forgiving. You don't have to be super precise. It flattens out nicely. I only lightly sanded the top of the dresser. Otherwise there was no prep work with the wood. Get the rounded brush while you're at it. It's an amazing brush and I can't say enough good things about it. The licorice color isn't black but a dark charcoal. It came out lighter than anticipated but I'm glad because it adds softness. I used a water based poly to seal it.

Forgiving, easy to use and looks great
I hate to paint. But i had a dresser with ripped decoupage, been beat up after many moves, and abused by my psycho cat. Went through the process to strip off junk and left the rest as is. Decided to try this. #1 it is thick but goes on really nice. SUPER forgiving. I really stink at painting but this went on flawless. I used a brush and also a cheapo foam roller. I can’t even tell after it is dry. Nice and even. #2 the color is exactly like advertised but i struggled to get my phone to show that color. I took a shot in 2 different lights. It looks a little greener in person. Which is perfect. It dries really quick and i did a couple coats. Now, the finish is very chalky which edges my teeth so i will probably get wax or something to at least do the top..maybe one of these days. This exceeded my expectations (so far). I haven’t cleaned it yet and not sure of durability. It’s still a win so far.

Opulence is the best purple chalk paint
I searched high and low for a purple chalk paint that would satisfy the type of color I wanted, and Opulence was the best option I found. I used CountryChic's Secret Garden before, so I knew what I was in for with Opulence. The paint is good, and thick, and easily applies especially if your brush is a bit wet. My only complaint with Opulence is that the color it is when it is wet is GORGEOUS - deep purple with a pinky hue. The color when it dries is not exactly what I wanted (and here it is darkened with a Satin topcoat - when it was bare it was honestly a little ugly - deep purple but with the grayish chalky appearance - third photo shows no topcoat) I really wish it had stayed the beautiful saturated purple/magenta-like color it was when wet, but when comparing it to the other purple options out there, it is still the best one. The 16oz was enough to cover my piece, with a little left to hopefully finish an inner shelf, but for $30 I honestly wish we were given more. Overall, I'm glad I went with Opulence and figured I'd post these pics and review since seemingly no one on here had purchased the purple. I guess I am little outside of the box 🤷♀️

Really great paint
This paint was used to cover an old dark wood dresser. I applied it with a chalk paint brush and I feel I could have gotten away with one coat, but I painted two coats. The paint covered beautifully and the finish is really nice. I will buy it again for other pieces.

Gorgeous Color, BUT….
This color was exactly what I was looking for, it’s bright and so pretty! However, it took about 5 coats to cover the light green that I painted over, and it probably could’ve used another coat but I didn’t have enough paint left. I also think it was pricey for the quality. I’ve painted lots of furniture, and there are definitely better chalk paint options out there.

Perfect colour
Paint goes on smooth and goes a long way. Painted a vanity and only used about half of the small jar. Would recommend for any of your projects

Great Chalk Paint
This paint works great. Dries fast which is nice. Looks nice over wood as you can still see the grain. Only problem was that some of the paint spilled during the journey. However, it wasn't much so I didn't think it was worth returning and waiting for a new one.
