Monitor your home and receive alerts when as little as 0.5 oz. of water is detected so you can avoid costly water damages. With the PEQ Water Sensor you can: Know at-a-glance whether there is a spill, leak or overflow in your home so you can take action right away. Set real-time text alerts to tell you as soon as your water sensor detects a problem. Use more than one sensor to monitor multiple areas at once, like basements, laundry rooms, bathrooms and more. Control from anywhere with your smartphone, tablet or PC. This device requires a PEQ hub and service plan. Review: 1 drop of water set it off at 4am) Best setup for me is setting this up with SmartThings - Using these with SmartThings. They work perfectly for under the sink and behind toilets. If you compare cost of water damage, these are cheap insurance. I have had neighbors and friends with water overflow/damage, with myself having a leak under sink (this notified me...1 drop of water set it off at 4am) Best setup for me is setting this up with SmartThings, which only provides basic text notification. I then link SmartThings into IFTTT and set a recipe that would call my phone whenever moisture was detected. * Word of warning....do not tell your friends you did this otherwise they will happily wet their fingers and touch the unit every time they come to visit, causing my phone to ring like crazy!!! Review: Works as described - Works as described, easy connection. be sure to check the polarity of the battery. mine came reversed and the unit became really hot. it is still working fine after a month

Great sensor, battery operated and stays connected
Great sensor, battery operated and stays connected. Although it's not officially supported, it works great on the Iris Next Gen system.
