Mary Frances Heart Burst - Cell Phone

I bought this bag to wear at my wedding reception. It's large enough to fit my cellphone, with room for lip balm and other little items. The included chain is fully detachable, and the exterior attachment for the chain is a substantial D-ring; this means that I can buy a wristlet strap from another vendor and attach it without issue, as was my plan. I love the Sacred Heart-inspired design. On the whole, this bag looks like it costs much more than $40, which makes sense: it retails for $85-90 at Anthropologie and Free People.The only criticism I have is that, like other reviewers, I noticed several beads missing along the edges of the bag. On the bottom edge, 2 sections of about 1" a piece are missing. Along the sides, it's much less substantial-- only 1 or 2 beads. Because the bottom is edged with 2 identical rows of beads, the effect is not especially noticeable. It seems possible to me that the bags on offer here are discounted because they are damaged in this way. I feel fine about carrying this bag during my wedding reception. As far as I'm concerned, this is still a great value.

What a gorgeous well made pocketbook. I have tried SO MANY that say they hold a cellphone but do not. This one does. You can choose to use this beaded bag horizontally or vertically, the chain can be adjusted. I can't wait to use this bag for my next dressy occasion. There are two separate areas, one for the phone and a zip up compartment for everything else. It's a small bag so it can't hold everything but money, credit cards, some makeup...absolutely. I will definitely be purchasing more Mary Frances bags on the future. BTW, the Amazon prices for these bags are the lowest I've seen.

This is really cute but a few beads were missing and you def can’t fit much in there.

This is simply a gorgeous little dressy bag. It's big enough to fit my iphone 14, a small slim wallet, small handkerchief and a tube of lipstick. Even prettier in person. The crossbody chain can be doubled over to shorten or you can remove it and not use as well.

Love Mary Frances! Of course I always like the larger ones, but this is for your cell phone and your lipstick and so forth!

The purse was a little whiter than expected, but other than that, it is just as pictured! There is a top zipper to put things in as well as the side compartment. So excited to use it!
