OGIOBrooklyn Purse, Black

I recently purchased this bag and it has already became one of my favorite bags. The description says it's a black bag but it's more of a dark gray. Inside the bag, it's lined with a cute black and white houndstooth print. There is an iPad sleeve, which I use to keep my phone in so it get extra protection. On one side of the iPad sleeve there is 2 large pockets and a pen holder for 3 pens. On the other side, there is a zippered area. Underneath the buttons on the front there is also another zippered pocket. I put things I don't use as much because it is harder to get to.As other reviewers have mentioned, the strap isn't ajustable. I am 5'7 and the bag fits me perfectly, even while wearing a heavy winter coat. I measured the strap and it's about 45 inches long. The strap is also very thick. Therefore, you won't have it digging in your shoulder.Pros:1. This bag is extremely light! After I switched from my leather bag to the Ogio bag with the same items in it, I couldn't believe how much lighter it was.2. There is tons of pockets, which is great for organization.3. I don't have to worry too much about getting the canvas material dirty or ripped because it's very durable and thick.4. The tag also said it comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, which most bag companies don't offer.Cons:1. The strap isn't adjustable.2. The canvas material attracts cat/dog fur.3. They should of made the buttons on the front snaps instead of actual buttons.Overall, this bag is great and easily one of my favorite bags. I would love to get more colors! I would recommend this bag to moms who don't need to carry diaper bag anymore but still need to carry some of their kids items in their bag, to college kids who need to carry their iPad or pretty much to anymore who wants a stylish, lightweight, organized bag.

This purse/carrying case is very well made. I have a 10" tablet and it fits in the inner pocket very well. It is very roomy. I use it as a purse and while it doesn't look big, it really can store a lot of things. One reviewer thought that it didn't look as it's pictured, but I disagree. I do have quite a bit tucked in it, and it looks very professional and absolutely holds it's shape! I would not hesitate to use this in a professional manner. If I used this to toss in the tablet, 2 cell phones, a 3DS, and their respective chargers I would still have plenty of room for other things. It sits well on my shoulder comfortably as well as across my body. I put my keys in the hidden front pocket, which is a tad bit difficult to get them in and out, but that's mostly because I have too much on my key ring. Even with everything I throw in there, there are no lumps or bumps. I do need to figure out a better weight distribution as the one side with all my extras in the zippered pocket seems to make it lean. This is a very nice bag, and the material is a decent weight. Not too thick and not thin. Well thought out design. I didn't "get" the "no man" sign on the inside as some people had with other purses. I was looking forward to that! Ha!

What I liked:The interior is spacious without turning into a black hole. It held everything I needed plus some. Love the styling of it as it is chic, minimalistic, and water repellent. The strap is comfortable, and just long enough -- at least for me -- to wear it crossbody when needed.What I did not like:The buttons on the flap should decorative only rather than functional. Magnetic would be great! Because they are true functional buttons means you either have to make the decision -- if you are going to try and use the outside hidden pocket -- to leave them perpetually unbuttoned, which impacts the look, or unbutton them every single time you want to access whatever you have in that pocket. My plan was to stash my cell phone there for easy access, but the pocket is a shade too small, and I have a completely typical cell phone. I like the bag enough that I am contemplating getting crafty and making the buttons non-functional, but will see whether I follow-through on that.I do also have a preference for adjustable straps, they make so much more sense in this busy world, so if such could be provided in the future for this style would be a big plus. Being able to make it a bit longer or shorter depending upon where your day takes you is important.Overall, out of the box I have already traveled with it twice, the first time a two day car trip, and the second flying, and it worked nicely. Since I got it on sale, I feel like it was a good buy, and will continue to use and enjoy it for what it brings to the party.

Questa borsa l'ho comprato per una mia amica, ma io ho da parecchi anni 2 borse simili e sono durevoli, belle anche dopo anni di utilizzo. Una l'ho lavata un po' di volte in lavatrice, ha perso leggermente la rigidità, ma è sempre bella. I colori si mantengono benissimo ed è molto pratica

This is my 2nd Ogio bag.Love that I can fit my rain jacket in it and roomy enough for everything else.Plenty of pockets to organise your stuff and my Fire tablet fits perfectly.

I was looking for a versatile bag that would be both comfy and attractive. I walk a lot and tend to carry a book bag because I find bags usually don't meet my needs or dig into my shoulder after a while. This is my first across the chest bag in about 15 years. I bought it because I am no longer a student and need to upgrade to something more classy than a book bag.EXTERIOR: Love the material! It seems durable and maybe even a little water resistant. The "OGIO" name is embroidered in white on one side and is attached on front in black metal. The buttons are also metal which I like the look and feel of (and more durable than plastic), however they are difficult to open, although that also makes it more secure I guess! There is a front secret pocket under the flat, I will probably only use it for something important that I don't use very often since it is harder to access. The strap is flat and wide which I think will be comfortable and distribute weight more evenly than a shoulder bag. The strap is NOT adjustable but it fits perfectly for me. For reference I am about 5'6 and the top of the bag hits just at the top of my hip bone. I am large chested and it seems to fit fine, I am not sure how it will fit over a winter coat but I guess I'll find out in a few months.INTERIOR: The inside of the bag is a zigzag pattern, cute but I would have preferred the polka dots personally (I think the interior depends on the color you buy). The padded tablet pocket is very nice and much bigger than I expected. I put my 7 inch tablet (with case) in there and still had plenty of room! So I put ANOTHER 7 inch tablet (with case) inside and it could still zip up! The front and back of the purse both have large compartments. The back also has a large zippered pocket. The front has a few organizers. I am attaching some photos because amazon.ca does not have very many and I nearly passed on this purse cause I did not realize how great it would be! I will be using it to carry my essentials and tablet. It looks like there will be enough room to also carry my water bottle and a few chargers too. I do not have kids but I think it could also work as a small diaper bag cause it is pretty roomy!SHIPPING: I have been watching the tracking for weeks waiting for this and it just arrived today! :) Take note that this bag will not be shipped for 2-3 weeks, however once it was shipped it arrived relatively fast (a week early!). When I opened the box, I knew it was worth the wait! :)COLOR OPTIONS: Overall the only thing I am disappointed about is the limited color options on the amazon.ca website (there are more options for .com but some of them won't ship to Canada). I ordered the black one because I think it will be the most versatile of the options available, however I really love the wine color! I found the wine color on another website but it was more expensive and did not include shipping. Since I only recently finished school, I could not justify an extra $25 for a different color so I ordered black. The black is beautiful though! (just not my first choice).
