Review: wanted to address those negative views - The font is around size 9 on Microsoft word, but I didn't have problems reading it. Plus, it's not like you are reading this book cover to cover, and it's only for the meds you need in the moment. The book is great to use. Important facts are underlined and safety things to consider are in red color and what's important is it's neatly divided into sections like side effects and nursing considerations. It's 1477 pages long, so obviously the font has to be small, or the book would not be manageable to carry out as it's already bulky on its own. It's not pocket size, as it's slightly bigger than an adult male hand on the front cover and as thick as a closed adult fist. Drugs are all alphabetized. There's a code in the book front that gives you a 1 year subscription to drugguide.com and a discounted rate for the david's drug guide. I had no pages missing or weird black smudges. Book has the clean freshly printed page brand new smell. The back section has a small couple of pages of meds in canada, natural herbs and products. I enjoy that the information is concise and also explains the pharmacokinetics briefly and also highlights contraindicated drugs and conditions. Very satisfied with this purchase. Review: Beneficial to have on hand! - Beneficial for nursing school & nice price!

Very useful
Great information. Useful for school. Confusing because some drugs are by class instead of by chemical (generic) name ex. ACEs & ARBs instead of losartan or lisinopril. Other students found it frustrating that oxycodone was in the book but oxycodone/APAP was not in the book, so when we had to do drug cards for school they were like do we do one for oxy & one for APAP?

Detailed
I love all the detail this book includes about each med. I use this book in nursing school to make med templates and there’s only been a couple times when the med I was looking for was not in the book. Overall, it’s a great book.
