Each Acute Care patch holds more than one hundred microscopic liquid cones that melt into lines and wrinkle for smoother, more youthful looking skin. Liquid Cone Technology is a targeted delivery system. Each liquid cone is comprised of two hard-working ingredients; Hyaluronic Acid (HA - which is the main ingredient in most facial fillers) and Sh-Oligopeptide-1. (No other added excipients, preservatives or non-essential ingredients) These cones remain in solid form until they come into contact with skin. The flat ends of the cones are part of a transdermal patch that is applied to the area of concern (wrinkle). The pointed ends make contact and the cones melt onto the skin and into the wrinkle. Water in the skin attracts the active ingredient, HA, which then penetrates the skin and plumps up the line. Sh-Oligopeptide-1, a peptide that stimulates collagen, is otherwise too large to penetrate the skin (say in a cream). However, it is able to come along for the ride with the HA. So through the delivery of Liquid Cone Technology, these line-defying peptides melt directly into the wrinkle for a younger-looking appearance.
