It’s the worst hose I’ve ever bought. I returned the first one because I only lasted a couple months and then this one here only lasted a short time. It’s the worst I ever bought.

The media could not be loaded.  I had to return the first one I bought as it developed an internal leak and was rendered useless like this one. This is the Amazon facilitated replacement and as you can see in the video, it too has developed some kind of internal leak making it useless. The Amazon facilitated replacement was delivered 1/24/24 and its 3/17/24 and this one is useless. They will not last more than 2 to 3 months tops.Now it gets worse....Amazon will not replace this and I have to go to AquaJoe for a warranty claim. Well, product registration works fine but hen when you try to make a claim, the website just keeps dumping you back to product registration....one continuous loop. There is also zero customer service and emails never get answered after many attempts. IMO, this is a sham company with a nice fancy site and in the end makes crap products pushed by fake reviews. I was really hoping for something better and in the end, I am out the money as I have no way of returning anything.Save the money and do not buy this product!UPDATE - Since I could not return it, I decided to find the root cause of this and found it. The rubber hose used as the expandable inner tube is manufactured poorly and inheritability will fail. I have experience with extrusion / blow molding in the plastics industry and can clearly see the issue. If you look at the pictures you will see that there are "thin spots" on the rubber hose and when you look at the inside like in the other picture you will see that the thin spots at these "seams" crack thus leading to the failure which happened in the final picture. Now, it would be odd for this to be a two piece blow molded process as extrusion processing would seem to be best, but there is definitely a pronounced "seam line" on both sides of this tube where it cracks. Based on this I highly recommend that you DO NOT BUY this as you are destined to failure no matter what as these "thin spots" and "cracks" will fail it is just a matter of time. Very poorly designed and implemented product.

The hose started leaking at the seam within 1 year. Liked that it is easy to maneuver around the yard. The manufacturer did offer to replace the hose. This is the second time around this time they cannot find my information in their database so I have to register again. I think it’s time to move on to a better hose with a longer warranty.In trying to register the product it was not possible there is no serial number.

This part of the hose never left my driveway as well. I taped this one off before shutting the water off since I couldn't see where the issue was after the water was off. its not like our water pressure here is insane as well and really based off reviews from people like Project Farm, the burst rating on these hoses is impressive.Do not buy these things as you will only get a warranty replacement as well. Which is frustrating since I can't trust the hose and really don't want to use them. But, at the same time I want to get my moneys worth.UPDATEReplacement has shipped. We will see how long it lasts.UPDATEI contacted support about getting a replacement and they keep losing my order. However when I contact an agent they say I will revive an update withing 48 hours. That was a week ago and I still have not revived anything. I am going to call them this time but I have doubts about getting a replacement now.UPDATEDAfter almost exactly one moth of use the first hose failed. This part of the hose stays inside my garage and never comes in contact with anything that could have damaged it. That includes thorns, sharp/pointy rocks, animals, etc.All this hose has been used for is watering my front yard and garden and one car wash. After every use it was carefully wound up on a real that is attached to my wall inside the garage. Since I am also obsessed with inspecting equipment as I store it I was also looking for any foreign debris while storing it and had never found more then some dirt and lawn debris.It is also interesting that this failed while the hose was in use and not when I started watering this morning. I went out to move my sprinkler and noticed a lot of water in my garage. Good thing that my garage drains properly or else there could have been issues.There are no visible punctures or abrasions to the outside, so the damage is most likely with the inner hose itself.I would not recommend anyone buy this type of hose if they want to use if for an RV or Camper. This hose being so unreliable would not go well if it were to leak in an area that would cause additional damage.OLDThis hose is a huge relief from used a PVC or Rubber hose by far. I live in an area where leaving a hose out front makes you really stand out so I like to pack everything up once I am done. Having something that is light yet has good performance is important to me.After my first use I was very impressed on the performance aspect as I had dealt with other fabric and expandable hoses in that past that were very disappointing on the water pressure side. I actually saw better performance out of this hose over a PVC/Rubber hybrid hose I had been using before. But it does not preform as good as my Craftsman rubber hose.Ease of use is fantastic as well. It is easy to deploy and pack up as it is as advertised lightweight. When deploying it, even though it is resistant to kinking, you need to be sure that you pull the hose out and ensure that there are no kinks when you first turn on the water. After the water is on you are in the clear to move this around without the stress of it kinking up every time you move it though.This thing is also fantastic when moving it around as it really doesn't catch on much of anything. In my front I usually have to maneuver around our cars and other hoses get stuck under the tires when they start to rub against them. This hose just glides past the tires without much effort at all.I can't talk to durability yet as I have not really used it much at this point. It looks and feels like it will be a long lasting hose, but the ends are of a little concern to me when looking at how they are attached. If I see anything of concern I will end up updating the review with what i have found as well though.I am sure if you are reading reviews you see all the reports of hoses bursting and/or failing in some way. I thought it was worth the risk based on what I needed. I also trust the brand since I have had positive interaction with their customer service in the past.I'm looking to buy a few of the 25 ft version as well for use with a above ground sprinkler system for my yard. But I am giving this a bit to see how well it works. I don't want a hose to fail while I have a sprinkler going for 30 to 45 minutes and just flood an area of my yard or garden.

I purchased this product and got about a month of use out of it until one day it started spewing out water. Not a pinhole or small cut...there is a 4" long split in the inner hose. I am thinking manufacturer defect. It's past the return period so I cannot return it for a refund or replacement. Other than this one hose having a problem...I like these ones and I have 4 of them!!

This is a really underrated hose, can't believe I hadn't found this sooner. So lightweight compared to conventional hoses, plus it doesn't kink, the outer shell seems much more durable than conventional rubber hose. Lays flat when empty and reeling it up or rolling it up by hand is a snap because it's so lightweight. Just bought a few more lengths of this same hose for my other bibbs around the house. A little pricey but worth it for the quality and improved features.

Terrible hose. Leaked after 4 uses. I had it replaced under warranty 2 times because each replacement hose leaked after 3 or 4 light, careful uses on grass. The leaks occurred in a spot that gets no wear or abrasion.. Stored on a plastic hose hanger.So 3 hoses and 3 leaks. Seem to develop leaks at the folded area of the hose. I would suggest a design or manufacturing issue. Asked for my money back from Aqua Joe as no point trying a 4th time. Received a credit to use on their website.Very disappointed as i have other Sun Joe, Snow Joe, Aqua Joe products and they have been very good.

Compré una segunda manguera, de mayor longitud, porque la primera ha durado como tres años de uso diario y sigue funcionando. Son muy livianas, manejables y con un poco de práctica no se tuercen.

*UPDATE*-Ordered 2nd hose to replace the first one that leaked, and yes, it has leaked now after 3 months use. Full disclosure, we keep this hose in front of house that get's full sun, we always drain-release pressure before it goes back on the reel, the other hose, (25'), we have is at back of house, doesn't get much if any sun, it is still going strong. Plus the water get's slimy on the front of the house hoses we have had issues with, maybe not rated for sun exposure??? Purchased my first hose, 25'-back of house, over a year ago, still working good. (Bought direct from Sun-Joe). Seen same model, 50' on Amazon, so purchased. Leaked right out of the box. Not at the end's as some people experienced, but about 1/3 down the length, and not a dribble, probable a pretty large hole/tear in the inner hose, as almost none came out the end. Great concept, but poor quality control by manufacturer. Amazon doing exchange, maybe next one is a "HIT"...***New, New UPDATE*** Latest hose we rcvd from Amazon eventually started to leak as well, this time after 4 months. Did a warranty return directly through Snow-Joe(SUN-Joe). They just asked for a pic and or video, (I sent both). They processed it very quickly and have sent out a replacement, (For those keeping score that is a total of 3-50' I have had fail), not expecting this one to last either, and if it doesn't I think I will move on to another style of hose, back to the standard rubber tried & true version. I really wanted these too work, great concept, but the longevity just isn't there. I own a Sun-Joe pressure washer, love it! So they do have some great product's...

Needed a lightweight hose that would actually wrap around our hose holder - our last one was so stiff and would kink whenever we tried to put it away. This one is easily taken out to water and put away without kinking or being stiff! Watering the plants now feels easy and not like a struggle.
