MotorKote MK-FO16-06 Fuel Optimizer, 16-Ounce, Single

After reading reviews plus as any other product advertised claiming bells and whiles, I was skeptical is it does what is says, since it was on sale, I bought 1 bottle for testing and see what it would do, since I just overhauled my Ford Crown Vic 4.6L V8 it had misfire issues, pinning under load, rough idling and power loss, the wearher heat also affected the performance of the engine do to heating and cooling problems, so after fixing what need it to be fixed I had Premium quater tank left, since this car is programed to run on 87 octane the Premium fuel only prevented pining under load most the time but it made the car run under powered, anyways I drove out the gas to almost empty with half a gallon fuel left It says to add 1oz per 10 gallons I decided to add 3 oz and filled up the tank full to 18.5 gal max, started the engine while leaving from the gas station I still felt not much power do to left over old fuel in lines with in 5 minutes of driving suddenly the engine smoothes out and no rough iding, I noticed increased power like no other, the engine started running like I remember buying it 20 years ago, under load no pining no misfires, good power pull up the fill no hesitation, of course it did had mechanical problems and got fixed but the engine still wasn't running perfect it had some hesitation, but now it's beautiful, I normally don't like to write reviews but this product deserves it, it sure lived up to its promises, for 13$ it treats up 160. gallons that is cheap, in my opinion is better than other more expensive products on the market, time will tell I will post follow up update if my milage got better after I empty this gas tank. give it a try its not expensive follow the instructions if you have a dirty engine put 1.5oz per 10 gal it shouldn't hurt just don't over do it.

I have this in all my gas powered engines. The jeep, both snow blowers, weed eater, leaf blower and chain saw. The weed eater, leaf blower and chain saw starts easier and all engines run smoother. I highly recommend this stuff.I also use their MotorKote hyper lubricant any place you would use regular oil. I coated all the door hinge pins in my home with it along with the dog clipper cutters, tools with moving parts like pliers, the moving parts on my jeep like door hinges, even in the 4 wheel drive transfer case and transmission. And both differentials. MotorKote says it is safe for power steering units so I added it there, too. This stuff works far superior than just oil. And if you watch a video on the MotorKote website (it is the last video on their video page) you will see amazing proof from an independent farmer who tested this product in a small engine. He drained the oil, treated the engine with 50% MotorKote and 50% regular oil. Let the engine run for five or ten minutes then drained the crankcase and filled it with just water. He ran the engine for an hour and there was no damage to the engine!

I bought this product and the catalytic convertor cleaner in the same line for a mechanic friend of mine. The products arrived on time and in good condition. He was happy when I gave them to him, and after using he told me there was a noticeable power boost in his truck, with a less hesitation. I'm always pleased when he's pleased!

Makes my Toro string trimmer smoother than it has ever been and the lawn mowers start and run better, Made my North Star engine in my Seville start and run with out chugging for 3 minutes like it always did so it apparently lubed the injectors, notice absolutely no difference in my 3.5 Eco boost in my F 150 runs the same as always no difference in mileage but I will continue to use every other fill up to insure injectors continue to preform well

Easy to use, but you need to know when you have almost exactly 10 gallons in your tank. Be sure you don't top off the tank until you have used up almost the whole tank of gas.Because it removes water from the fuel, it will help keep your tank from rusting, which can then clog your fuel lines and injectors. That also means you won't suck up bad gas if your tank runs low.They recommend doing this every 3 - 4 fill ups, but even if you only do it once or twice a year, it can only help.

Update 7-7-2017I just read the destructions. I've been adding it every fill-up, but should start adding it every fourth. I burn a tank a week, so I'll just add it once a month.End updateMy air filter was contaminated when a body shop removed my front bumper and let the filter fall into an oil puddle. My gas mileage plummeted after that happened. I had the injectors cleaned, and that helped, but only to a point. My mileage never got back to where it was before the repair. My plugs probably were also contaminated, and you can't clean these (special 120K mile) plugs.I started a new job that involves a lot of freeway driving - about 80 miles round trip. My mileage went up because of the highway driving, then plateaued. As soon as I put an ounce of this optimizer in, the mileage seemed to improve, albeit slowly. I run AmsOil synthetic, and use MotorKote oil treatment, too, so I figured there wasn't a lot of room for improvement. I sort of accidentally put too much in one fill-up, and my mileage is now improving a lot faster. I just started my second bottle, so I think I'll get the multi-pack next time around.

The Motokote fuel optimize was purchased to improve my car’s fuel economy and to help improve sluggish starts. While I am still assessing my fuel economy improvement, my car definitely starts better and has improved its sluggish starts. The product can treat multiple tanks of gas. Certainly a product worth using.
