Lord Of The Rings Gimli Fun Pack - LEGO Dimensions

This is a very nice addition to any Lord of the Rings fan's Dimensions army. Gimli himself is a very detailed and very cool figure, even if his ax is a little run-of-the-mill as far as LEGO axes go. He doesn't have very many powers, but the ones he does have are unique enough to make him useful. I really like the addition of his "Dwarf Frenzy" attack, which is a carry over from the Dwarves of LEGO: The Hobbit: The video game, his also has a much faster charge rate than in the aforementioned game. He has amusing dialogue, and just recently got updated with even more things to say, which is the bonus to being a character that utilizes archive sounds. His vehicle, the Axe Chariot has "Car" abilities, as in, it can solve vehicle puzzles exclusive to cars, such as the Batmobile, and Bad Cop's Police Car. It is actually to scale with it's in game counterpart, which I always consider a plus, and can even fit characters on top! It's a very cool build, with a distinct Medieval Fantasy vibe to it, right down to the seemingly stone carved wheels. It's alternate builds are fun as well, with an Axe Hurler and even a Winged Chariot, and since flight in this game is always a plus, especially in the DC Universe, which has seen better days :P , it's a very useful addition to your vehicle roster. All in all, I quite enjoyed having him as part of my Interdimensional army, and I'm sure you will too. He's the best thing since Salted pork. So go out there, see who can beat Lord Vortech first, and may the best Dwarf win.

My son loved this Lego Lord of the Rings and positively commented about the 3 in 1 design!

My 8 year old son loves this game. He asked me to put more hours in the day to increase his playing time. He has 95% of the minifigures. I pre ordered 3 new minifigures for him which will be released in late Sept 2016. This game is well thought out with great details. Many hour of entertainment here.

LEGO Dimensions is so much fun & unique, and was abandoned long before its time. I was so happy to complete the LotR series with Gimli. Unfortunately, not only did it arrive late, the box was completely squished. There's no way that it was damaged during shipping, since it looks like someone took it and crushed it with their bare hands! I'm not too concerned with keeping the boxes for all of the figures & sets I have from this game (there's SOOOOO many), and since Gimli & his companion piece weren't damaged, I'm not going to seek a refund.There have been multiple complaints about damage and receiving the wrong things from here. I think this seller really should look into hiring a quality control team to inspect the items before they ship.

He is a very fun character for any collection. He is pretty much a brawler but his axe and strength go a long way and his character design is great as well. High recommend.
