Good Companian for "Security Risks Assessment and Management"
I bought this book because it was required for a graduate class I was taking. It was very informative and clear, not filled with a lot of jargon and technical terms that the average reader skimming through would just throw down after about 5 seconds. It was also cheaper on Amazon than at the school bookstore. I had to buy it in addition to Betty E. Biringer et al's "Security Risk Assessment and Management: A Professional Practice Guide for Protecting Buildings and Infrastructure". The two books together made the weekly online class discussions between the professor and students engaging and informative. Great books both of them.

Great. Thanks.

An easy read, but not that useful by itself
Combine this book with "Vulnerability Assessment of Physical Protection Systems." This book is an easy read, but it is missing the meat that you need in security.

Building / Compound / Mall area security
This is a comprehensive book, complete with graphics that pretty much starts off as Building Security 101 and gets more intricate throughout the book. This is s good guidebook for any decision makers who need a reference manual.
