The Curse of Silent Marshes [Download]

I have played this several times because I really liked the puzzles-I still can't figure out the last one so I have skipped it in order to see the ending. Will probably try again but I find the ones I can't figure out usually have a more simple solution rather than the complicated one I was trying to figure out.

I didn't find this very fun. Not many hidden object sites. Puzzles are okay. When characters spoke there was no sound so you have to read the captions. Not a big deal but it's nicer when the games have full sound effects. Last game I played was Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind and that was much better for the same price that I paid.

This, I felt, was an okay game. It was fairly short, and seemed a bit "clunky" in the way the story was presented. In several of the hidden object games, some items were pretty small, or the area was too oblique to find the object without using the Hint button. With a little more explanation, the story line would have been really interesting, though!

This is the first of this type of game that hasn't worked with Windows 10. The program keeps hanging and then boots me out. What I did get to play was not interesting or difficult. So I'm not that disappointed or interested in trying to find out why it's hanging up.

I rate this game 3.5, actually. Nice mixture of games with a couple that I really had to work hard on. Pedestrian story, that you've seen lots of variations of if you play enough of these casual games. I liked spending a few hours with this one.

I'm the type of person who likes to get right in there and find hidden objects. This one has a story line, which hangs me up and slows down my progress. I feel that it is a great game for those who enjoy following a story and going back and forth to solve things during the game. Me? I like to jump right in there.
